It'd be so awesome if helmets could be purchased/equipped for specific vehicles at LSC rather than having a fixed helmet for all vehicles (full-face looks awful strange on a Cruiser).
 
I just had the craziest Piracy Prevention game EVER.

The moment I loaded up GTAO, I registered with SecuroServ and launched Piracy Prevention (solo). Hardly had 20 seconds passed when a Cargobob showed up on the horizon. I fired a rocket and out came four players, all of which landed on the ship. I got killed twice but managed to get rid of them. Up next was a passive mode scrub along with two of the previous players, who distracted me enough for the scrub to come out of passive and blast me :ouch: So he was quite a burden, considering that I had to kill him 7 times to get him to respawn on the shore and that players were flying in one by one all the while. He even got the capture meter to 3/4 once. By the time I got rid of him there were about 4 minutes on the clock and the yellow yacht icon was attracting more and more enemies, up to a total of nine different players. Luckily for me, none of them had teamed up, so it wasn't too hard to deal with them. It was nerve-racking though, especially when my character jumped off the vessel with two players already on it :banghead: The moment the timer reached zero and the captain sounded the horn, I just... wished I had recorded it :indiff:

I hope it will take a couple of years before it's released. Rushed games are rarely good.

I don't think it will. None of the GTA games (or any R* game that I've played) have been rushed (excluding PC ports). Plus they probably started development of GTA VI back when GTA V was initially released (or at least when the PS4 version was released).

GTA IV came out in, what, 2008? I've seen pictures from early development with the main map modeled from 2010, granted it didn't look as good as it does now, and some things were changed, but it was definetly from development on GTA V.

Realisticly, as of now, I'm almost certian they have the setting, main plot points, and what the landscape will look like for VI at this moment. However, I'd say it won't be released until 2018, at the earliest.
 
A few weeks ago I was playing GTAV Contact Missions on PS4 I played with about two other people we killed all the AI enemies and all we had to do was find a truck for the trailer. So one player got in my car the other player had his own car looked like a VW van. I decided to follow him so we could find a truck after a while he tied to drive away from me and crashed his own car I couldn't understand why he wanted to run away from me and not do the Contact Mission ?
 
So, I've been doing some VIP things, and ended up freezing the game by the end of the timer. My laptop's still fine: it's the intermittent crashing people have been complaining about, and now I know.

Sounds pretty indifferent, but.. how about the result? Why am I telling you this?

It seems that the game assumed I never expired my VIP session and.. gave me another 4 hours, like I've registered again! Call it a bug or something like that, but one thing's for sure: it means more money for SPD!
 
It's nice when a problem ends up being favorable. I had a Rockets vs Insurgents session dump and ended up as the winner--not that I have difficulty with winning, though. :P

Speaking of "sharing," would there be anything wrong (from R*'s perspective) with intentionally losing cash wagered on a job? To essentially give someone else money, that is.

I do this all the time if I have less than 1 million in the bank. It's pretty simple:
  1. Wait for the VIP timer to reach 2 minutes
  2. Launch a VIP job (Sightseer works for me)
  3. Do not complete it; instead wait 2 minutes until the timer expires and 2 more to ensure that your progress has been saved in the R* cloud
  4. Bring up the character wheel and switch to single player (Franklin works for me)
  5. Log in again
  6. The timer should now be reset to 4 hours
  7. If the timer is frozen, simply join another session and it will start counting down again
This is such an awesome glitch. :D
 
The main issue is with this glitch is that I never have the aptitude to play the game for more than 5 hours straight.. except after the first few days GTA Online came out.

Me neither, but if I don't have enough to re-register as a VIP this glitch helps a lot.

I just bought a Nightshade (which is actually pretty fast IMO) in the middle of my VIP session and now I need to make some 500k to be able to be a VIP again. However, since it's impossible for me to make that amount in two hours (yes, I know, PS heist, randoms suck), guess what I'll be doing. ;)
 
Is there ever going to be more heists or DLC other than new cars/game modes? Even some new story content would be coool. :/
 
I don't think anyone here is so in the loop that they know what Rockstar really has planned long-term. I wouldn't be surprised if there's no new heists because that sort of development would likely be relegated to the next installment, but there will probably (speculation on my part, honestly) be new equipment for purchase.

Does the Velum 5-seater ever appear as it does on Elitas' page when requested from Pegasus? I've made a couple dozen attempts and have only seen two variations on a red and white two-tone...no blue.
 
If any of you guys find a working solo helmet and mask glitch on PS4, please notify me. I'd prefer if they were easy glitches that didn't require extremely precise button presses.

I got hat and mask, but I'm not sure I can help. It might be related though so it might be handy if I tell you what I know. The glitch involves a bike and being in front of a clothes store, and that's as far as I remember from memory. No tricky button presses: just need fast hands for quick menu navigation.

The only mask+helmet glitch I'm aware of is the chemical mask from the hazmat suit.

I followed the instructions given by the 2nd top comment which states something about using gasoline and a telescope. Make sure you have full health when attempting the gas+telescope method :P

I'm not sure if this still works, but I'm pretty sure the last time I achieved this was after the executives and criminals update (on PC). I don't know if the most recent lowriders update patched this.

Pause > settings and I'm not sure where, just read through the options carefully. It may be in camera or display settings.

Something more bizarre is that you can't use the telescope when you back out of the mission start screen. This game is so stupid.

I didn't try the method with the telescope in the apartment, I did the latter where you use the scarf. After that I went down to the pier and used the telescopes there.
