All my rides are pink, on both characters. So that's like 20 cars in Hot Pink. I totally agree with you on this one, but I'd like to hang out with you, in my pink cars.

I'm not upset at you. I totally understand killing me for accidentally shooting you. It's darknut (not actual PSN nick) that irritated me.

We should. All my cars save for the two I'm going to swap out are midnight purple and pfasher pink (whatever it's called.) I have a couple that don't have a secondary color and those are going to end up with Hot pink rims once that's unlocked.

But yeah, some people can be stupid online. And I understand getting frustrated with all the random killing that happens. This is why, if I want to make money outside of racing, I just hope in a solo session, sell some cars, rob an armored truck and whatever I need to do, then bank the money before heading online.

Also, I am very impressed with my Dubsta. It held it's own just fine when btsniper and I climbed up mt chilliad and he had one of the Merryweather trucks.

Yeah, Pfister Pink is quite nice, until you can get Hot Pink, which needs turbo starts (a warning though Hot Pink costs $12,500). The only way to get Hot Pink cars before you unlock it is to buy them from websites.

My colour scheme is Metallic Hot Pink base and Racing Yellow Pearlescent, it's a very cool colour shift (well I think so).
 
Quick race is really getting tiresome. It's 90% Criminal Records, Down The Drain or The Commute. Whenever I start a different race up myself nobody joins.
 
I was hoping I could convince one of you high level bad asses to add me (driftinziggy2) as a friend and help me build up some much needed money an RP by doing some of those high dollar quick missions that I see people doing on YouTube .. I will be online tonight around 9:30-10 ish tonight ( USCST)and will gladly play until I have some substantial cash! I am hoping to afford a nice apt with a 10 car garage by the end of it. Please put GTP gta grind in subject if anyone is willing to help my out.. I'm only level 9 so far :(

Are you any good at racing? If you are you'll level up quicker than doing missions.

Nice. Apparently, you can do the turbo start BEFORE you get an actual turbo. I did one completely on accident once and I have no idea how to do it again. Also, the metallic midnight purple costs 13k. I don't know why I have to spend that much on a color online when the colors in single player are less than 2k. Of all the things that I dislike about online, that one doesn't make any sense. I can understand unlocking the colors, but why are they so expensive? It's like that Futurama episode where Bender had his dating service and he was selling roses and Leela bought one and then Bender jacked up the bring because "demand skyrocketed."

Trying racing with Mr. Apex. Although he might get stuck on Route 68, usually he'll do the same race a couple times and move on.

Turbo starts have nothing to do with an actual turbo. It's just a boost start, you need to hit accelerate only on the GO, not before, and it has to be just after you see GO as well. It's all about timing, get it right a few times though and you'll be doing it all the time.
 
I love turbo starting with utilities(lawn mower, forklift, etc) because you go like 50mph, and then after 3 seconds you're back to 15mph.

I have the habit to fully rev my car (like in GT5) before blasting off the line. Makes it easier to Turbo start, well for me at least. The turbo starrts in this game reminds me of the boost starts in Burnout 2: Point of Impact.

I get a Mario Kart vibe from the turbo start. If I have my mic on I occasionally shout "Let's-a go!" :lol:
 
Why doesn't anyone realise the Merryweather air support is on your side when you call them in on a mission? I haven't used it very often but every time I do someone else tries to shoot them down and I've got no mic to tell them not to.

I know the first instinct is that it's an enemy but the fact they're not shooting at you and the chopper is black on the HUD, not red, should give it away.

Anyone up for grinding races later today? I blew my remaining cash on tuning my free Elegy and speccing up my combat pistol.
 
Yes they are still "squashing bugs", no ETA on the stimulas at the moment.

As for racing I'll be online in a few minutes looking for races, not grinding the same ones over and over though. I need variety.
 
Yea super, have fun climbing Mt. Chilliad with you. My friend don hit the tank while going up the trail and lost one of his wheels. :lol:

Yeah I felt bad after he lost both front wheels on his Patriot, which was why I abandoned the climb up Chiliad. The Rhino is unrealistically bad at climbing hills.

THE GTA$ STIMULUS PACKAGE
We know many of you are anxiously waiting for us to show you the GTA$ Stimulus Package money we announced a couple weeks back. As mentioned in that post, we of course want to ensure that game progress loss issues are sufficiently sorted before distributing the GTA$ to everyone. We have a few more tweaks and fixes to make in a new title update that will hit sometime next week and then we will distribute the cash.

THE BEACH BUM PACK
Coming in early November will be the first add-on content update, the Beach Bum Pack which will bring all-new beach themed vehicles and new weaponry that you’ll be able to use in both GTA Online and Story Mode. Plus new customization options for your GTA Online character including new tats, hairstyles and more. We’ll also be adding lots of brand new action-packed Jobs to play with Gang Attacks, Survivals, Last Team Standings, Parachutes, Deathmatches and Races that will have you bloodying up the waters and coastlines of the finest beach resorts across Los Santos and Blaine County.

THE CONTENT CREATOR
We are also working to bring you the debut of the first part of the GTA Online Content Creator this fall – giving players the ability to craft, publish, rate and play custom-made Deathmatch and Race Jobs. We’ll be keeping our eye open for exceptional ones that we’ll be stamping as ‘Rockstar Verified’ and will be featuring them here at the Newswire and as part of forthcoming GTA Online Social Club Events. Both the Content Creator and the Beach Bum Pack are free.

SOCIAL CLUB EVENT WEEKENDS
Starting in November will be the first Grand Theft Auto Online Social Club Event weekends which will bring special rewards and bonuses ranging from limited-edition in-game Event Crate Drops to in-game discount specials and even a special new GTA Online live-stream show hosted by Rockstar at the Social Club Events page and Rockstar Games Twitch page – plus prize pack giveaways of hard to find GTAV gear and more.

Stay tuned as we hope to have more information with more details and specific timings on these content updates as well as on GTA Online Heists and the new GTA Online Capture the Flag mode to share with you next week. We will also have initial details on more additional content coming for both Story Mode and GTA Online in the next few weeks.
 
^^I can't wait to customize that beach buggy and climb Chiliad with it. I might hold off on finding an offroad vehicle until the Beach Bum pack becomes available.

You might be waiting a while with as much as they have been delaying everything else. Free is free so I am looking forward to it. Just not expecting it anytime soon.

It's a shame the Rhino is only a one seater despite a gunman seat CLEARLY visible on the roof with a machine gun, otherwise I would have given him a lift off the mountain. I felt bad when I saw that he was literally stuck and couldn't move.

I bought it for $1.5 million. Only in extreme cases I will bring it out to shut down trigger-happy players who kill random players, crew members, or friends for the fun of it. Last night was an exception, because I wanted to test it's offroad capabilities. Needless to say I'm very disappointed. Tanks are more than capable of scaling hills that are around a 55* angle. The part I got stuck was around a 40* angle.
Oh yeah by the way someone in the GTPlanet crew kept trying to kill me the other night for no reason. I can't remember his PSN name though. I had no choice but to bring out the Rhino and calm him down.
