Apparently this guy dropped info on stuff back in 2013 and got close. But meh, it all sounds very perfect cause that's all the kind of stuff I'd like to see.

This relentless promotion of adversary modes makes me sick... TWO weeks of double $ and RP on Entourage? Am I the only one who thinks they should just focus on other things and stop flooding us with adversary modes that don't attract too many players even with the bonus? :indiff:

@Custom878, if you don't have the Insurgent, I'd suggest that you buy it, because in my opinion it's still viable in combat (it can take three rockets) and at $338k it's a bargain.

GTA's one of the few games that I feel has legitimately earned paid DLC, and that was at launch. Now, even after all these free expansions, I am 100% down to give R* more money, especially for the amount that I play GTA.

Paying £25 for Destiny's DLC has made me really appreciate the fact that every update has been free on GTA.

Doubt I'll have time for grinding this week, but a few of those sound intriguing. Might be able to finally get a Cheetah to complete my Grotti collection, but it isn't discounted; I could always just ruin my bank account and buy another X80.

$2,550,000 was the original price. It's now $1,912,500.

Well, that's cheaper than a T20 now, but I wonder if there will be a bigger sale in the future. I just dropped $500,000 on an office and the second-cheapest warehouse, but I'm around $3.5 million IIRC. Despite the RE-7B being faster around a track, I like the Tyrus more.

It says he posted that on the 11 Aug 2016. Found the guy on GTAF anyway here are his last 3 posts, they make for interesting reading.

No offence, but how on earth are SOME and I do stress the word SOME of you, allowed unrestricted access to the Internet?
SERIOUSLY..... Photos of helicopters, cars,my failures to leak past updates..... UNBELIEVABLE!

I stated in my post that I am not a leaker or attempting to give the impression of being a leaker, hacker or whatever, I know nothing about data mining! hacking or anything else of that nature!

I already stated
(if you actually read the post)
that I "overheard"accidentally read" something that maybe I wasn't supposed to have!

100% Legal But maybe not 100% ethical?

From the Same speculation source as 2013!!

True of false IDFK!

Either I read/heard what I posted
or
created the perfect way to utilise all that work, already completed, and implement a way to charge for it!
Casino/micro transactions, a way to implement it / removing legal ramifications AND CHARGE FOR IT!

And then wait 3 YEARS since my last Lucky/vague prank post in 2013 to get another chuckle over random people on a video game forum!

This forum,(some years back) was a brilliant place for GTA lovers to, discuss, ideas, maps, projects, SPECULATION, etc.. and so thought it would be interesting to post again (in the appropriate thread) considering the 2013 speculation was relatively close!

Debatable yes, but not to far off what we got in the end! But like some have suggested maybe it was
Just lucky or wild guesses!
(were heists even known to be available ONLINE in March 2013 Genuine question?) contact mission separate from free mode, free mode events, crew challenges, VS missions Turf Wars (gang attacks) easy to say now, BUT in 2013!! IDK

I recall a article from a support site that let slip Next Gen/PC versions, first person view, bigger Lobby's, think I'm right in saying that the article in question had a reference to animals online followed with a RED question mark!!! !!!!! !!!!!! !!

What I'm getting at is, SOMETIMES speculation (if grounded in reality) can SOMETIMES have some substance!

I didn't disagree with any of the forums Genuine LEAKERS,
the speculation totally backs up what the forums REAL leakers have stated, that UPDATES for GTAOnline will stop before/around Spring 2017!

The wording of the speculation as facts were NOT worded by me, just copied from the speculation source itself and posted to this forum, just as I did in 2013!
(Both times may I add, I translated from another language)

After reading a few comments sent privately by SOME members here!
Makes me wish I hadn't bothered now!

PS, thanks Jedi Cowboy (Cool name BTW) for reading the FULL post!! (A semblance of faith in humanity restored)

Yan's Info/source is right, GTA Online will be supported up until/ around Spring 2017 with FREE CONTENT!
After that, the 2 DLC's will be paid DLC's!

All cities will have CEO type VIP, DeathMatches, Races, creator, LTS, Capture, Adversary, etc that have been released sporadicly over GTA Online's life span,
All included from the start!
TWO PAID DLC'S!
NO MORE UPDATES!

Micro transactions will still be available to purchase!

The Casino will not work like you would expect!
A DLC Exclusive only!
You will work for casino bosses, who in turn pay GTA CASINO CHIPS,
That can be gambled in house with possibility of turning the chips into GTA$!

The stock market will also not be as expected!
Invest in the stock market and Protect investments!
(Protect interests/ Investors/ business from Free Mode players, Similar to Warehouse/ crate destroy style)
If unsuccessful, YOUR shares will drop, again similar to Crate system!

Stock market only available in Liberty City,
just as crate smuggling will be limited to Los santos!!

With the HD model of Liberty City needing little work, unused content such as Audio/Motion capture left from GTAV, along with New Online Contact missions planned for Los Santos, were instead implemented into Liberty City. hence no new contact missions from LS contacts!

BTW I'm not a leaker/troll/Author/Brilliant business strategist (would have to be to draw up a business plane as good as that lol) or whatever else SOME here have mentioned! Just "overheard" some speculation again like in 2013, and thought I'd share it in the appropriate speculation thread on your very fine forum!

*Not Yet Complete

San Fierro and Las ventures
(Online Map expansion)
$£ Paid DLC 2 2018 oct
*Not Yet Complete

Vice City.... Not until GTA VI, some time around 2020 At the VERY earliest!

San Fierro and Las Ventures were built alongside Los santos way back in the early development stages of GTAV, Scrapped on PS3/Xbox for obvious reasons!!
After more then 3 years of re building for PS4/XBO/PC,
Both are still being worked on with a release target of October 2018!

Single player DLC has been replaced with Online Map expansion model!
Mainly due to the unforeseen success of micro transactions and GTA online in general!

Liberty City will be released September 2017..
The DLC will included

A Open ticket (for city slickers) to Liberty City!

A Open ticket (for Snow Blowers) to North Yankton!

EXCLUSIVE VIP Membership (for High rollers) which grants Exclusive access to THE CASINO in Los Santos!

Pre Order Bonus of 1 million GTA Casino chips for pre order!!

Micro transactions can NOT buy GTA CASINO CHIPS!

Liberty City, North Yankton and the Los Santos Casino scheduled together to keep player migration relatively balanced!!

Liberty City will enable you to trade on the stock market, once a Office has been *Purchased! Similar to the current crate set up!

Both DLC's will be priced equivalent to a full game!!

I've posted on this forum twice!
(Not including this post)
one was BEFORE the release of GTAV back in 2013 (Check back and have a careful read, compare it to what we have today) and one post was yesterday (2016)

Most if not everything mentioned in that 2013 post has been implemented or reworked into the current GTA Online we have today, from the old mission set up format, to individual heist roles, to the current free mode events!

With the Next four Updates to come, GTA Online will have utilised most if not all the work that went into GTAV such as animals, police vehicles, Stock Market, Blaine County etc..
Can't say much more, there on to me..... Speculating can get you in to a lot trouble.. lol

Keep Speculating and Keep up the great work GTA FORUM!
You guys Rock!! *

Whoever keeps storing their Sultans up there must be getting pretty annoyed by now.

I heard things began slowing down in September 2013.

They're probably the same morons doing meth deals under the pier. No matter how many times I jack their 🤬, they go and let me jack their 🤬 again.

Yeah. You would think all of these drug runners in the desert* would find new locations after I've performed numerous gun runs and fired several hundred missiles on them. Come to think of it, the military is very bad at keeping track of their fighter jets when I can fly away in one without any hostility.

You know you're doomed when you're still looking at the clouds before joining a session and hear "BOOOOM" :scared:

AFAIK, you only hear explosions near your true location. By that, I mean where your character actually is, since garages and apartments are located underneath Legion Square. Even if your map says you are in your apartment at "X" street, you're physically under Legion Square.

This would normally belong in the Best/Worst thread. I don't wanna triple post there though...

These checkpoint shenanigans in stunt races are really infuriating. Theoretically, the first checkpoint on Canyon Crossing requires an especially low level of intelligence to miss, as the track is quite narrow there (which always leads to a huge pileup, but that's a different story...). Yet twice in a row, in different races, I was in the top 3 off the line, only to end up 10th after the checkpoint, which the game did not count despite me even going through the damn blue arrow.

Another case is that in pretty much every single motorcycle race, if a rider has the nerve to pull back while airborne in order to make the jump longer, chances are that they will miss the checkpoint which R* has strategically placed at the bare minimum jump distance. So they lose some 15-20 seconds in an attempt to gain one second at the very most, which could potentially be the difference between a win and a loss. Absolutely outrageous.

Also, what's with people teleporting all over the place lately? Does R* seriously think that it wouldn't be a problem if 29 players lagged like hell due to the crappy connection of a single player? They're a billion dollar company and they're sticking with primitive peer2peer "servers"? Can they really not afford to buy dedicated servers for this massive cash cow of a game that so many millions of people play on a daily basis? This is utterly pathetic.

I think we can be thankful that at the very least R* restricted their stunt races to certain classes and kept it mostly balanced. Knowing them, they'd have supers on a track meant for muscle cars only. The checkpoint and race start issues are a major problem, especially for the dedicated racing crews. It leads to confusion, damaged cars, and people questioning the reliability for the next checkpoint. As for motorcycle physics, they must have been changed dramatically. I thought only bicycles could perform the upside-down flying glitch. Several times I tried leaning back before a jump, only to be launched WAY off target.

I completely agree with you on the servers. It's unacceptable to have servers this terrible for a billion dollar company. Even smaller studios with high playerbases don't have stability problems.

Exactly. The first checkpoint chaos has actually made me feel grateful that Catchup is a thing... :embarrassed:
