Honestly. this is probably the only Adversary mode I like since joining the game. the though it's tricky trying to win a match from the top down only view
 
Wow! I just made an insane amount of cash doing Dumbl...I mean Deadline. A massive 800-something dollars. The worst adversary-mode I've tried, and I'll most likely not do it again. Ever. But, I'll save $2225000 by not getting the bike, so that's a plus:tup:
 
Since Deadline can apparently be played with just two players, will anyone be up at 10:45-11:00 PM EST tonight? I want to unlock the Shotaro and the suits.

Random thought: I might sell my Tyrus for extra money since I barely use it and it feels like it spins out too easily, especially during races. My T20 feels more stable for everyday driving and I don't race that often anymore.

The only problem is that I waited 20 minutes for people to join me, then tried joining existing Deadline sessions. Finally got into one, but the idiot host was waiting for it to fill up (we had three people already!). 5 minutes later, we're FINALLY about to start and I got kicked 15 seconds before it actually began.

Oh. Maybe I just got "lucky" then. I got an invite about 2-5 minutes after I logged on

Yeah. The community is too toxic to play with. That's why I rarely venture outside of invite-only lobbies, even with friends/crew members.

You don't have to win. Just participate. Besides, the only way to win is to kill.

The easiest thing should be if you do it with a friend/crewmember. When it starts, he/she quits. If it's anything like captures/versusmodesor deathmatches, you get the win and thereby the chance to buy the bike.

That's the problem, most sessions with randoms end before they're even started, whether it's due to the pathetic servers, or you get kicked by idiots in the game.
 
Finally got my account straightened back out. Deadline is actually kinda fun for a few minutes, although I have no intentions of buying that bike, I wanted to unlock it.

@Dan, I got a couple pics of the ETR1, I'll post them tomorrow.
 
Having trouble deciding which deadline suit to buy. The blue is too gray, and the purple is too blue. :|

EDIT: Holy crap. The Shotaro looks amazing in pure white. It looks like it's a combination of the lightcycles from the original TRON and TRON Legacy.

@Jahgee told me that there was a purple one as I was booting up the game and I was much excite until I saw it was blue lol
Nothing for it, had to go with CLU orange.
 
I went with classic black and a matte black secondary. It doesn't glow but if you look closely at night you can see the secondary, but only in certain lights. Took the mudguards off too. If you could remove the wheels hubs so you could actually see the rims then it would be the perfect bike and totally worth the money.
 
So this new game mode is about strategy more than skill I find. I usually try to play defensively and avoid everyone and keep hold of an aggressive power up (speed boost) to use if the chance comes.

It did remind me of Toreno, but way more of an ass with the attitude. The anonymity really allows him to open up to his scrub side like most kiddy gamers out there. Shame our character's just pretty dumb not to figure that out.

And of course..

"What it look like I'm made of? Pudding?!"
