Per specific instructions from RockStar .... you should always join single player mode first. Then press pause/online and start online mode.

When exiting online, reverse the procedure.

Any other way, you risk loosing character(s) and progress.

If that's their official instructions, I wonder why they even bothered to add the button during the loading screen. :odd:

To maybe catch out the hackers by chance so they lose all their progress?

Its been there since day 1 ... have no idea why it wasnt removed, but trying to figure R* out is a daunting task. I just throw my hands in the air and worry about other things. :)

Maybe the issue is fixed and its ok to use .... but I'm trained now to enter and exit the way they instructed, in order not to lose characters, etc.

I've pretty much always joined from the loading screen, but I might start joining via offline from now on. It's so much quicker, and you can choose to join an invite-only lobby from the start instead of being placed into a 20-player random lobby.

Couple of PS3 deathmatches:

It's Red Rum Backwards. Set at the racetrack, plenty of open space and even more cover. Team deathmatch best with 16 players and let the carnage begin. http://rsg.ms/LGuswu

Sawmill Shootout. Easily the most challenging survival is set here, so now it's time for a PvP battle. Lots of cover in such a small area, so get to know the area and plan some surprise attacks. http://rsg.ms/1bOpYIW

I saw something similar last night. The Sandking and Blista are mine, but I don't recognize the other two.

I think that happens when two people owns the same apartment and are in the same server. Well, one day I entered in GTAO, spawned in my bedroom as normal, and when I went to the living room, there we're two guys that I never saw before there with a stripper. When I went to the garage, one row of cars we're mine, perfectly, and the other was from the other guy who owned the apartment. (400G one).

I agree. It's similar to how when someone has the same apartment as you in the same lobby their guy will be shown walking around your garage.

I don't think your interior garage is attached to your apartment address that way. I've seen friends with different addresses walking in my garage when we were actually in our own individual garages but on the same server.

Same.
I have a theory that all garage space is actually 'stored' under the map right next to the art plaza (where you go to do the first 2 Grass Roots side missions), because if you expand your radar when you're in your garage it will sometimes show you inside your garage's physical location but sometimes it'll show you right next to the plaza.

Does joining online from the main loading screen let you join faster? Or going to campaign then to online?
For me it joins much faster if I go to the campaign first. Plus keep in mind if you join the online directly, you enter into an online PUBLIC lobby. If you don't want to do that, load the campaign first. I always load the campaign first. Then I set up my own private online free roam lobby.

Exactly. That button should have been removed a long time ago. You should always enter the campaign first.

What's the fastest way to get money, legitimately?
Survival mode is a guaranteed way to make $20,000 every 10 waves. Plus the money you pick up from dead bodies per round. Its very easy and you even pick up free ammo the entire time. Its rare anyone fails the survival modes.

Co-op missions are great and I truly love them, BUT, you don't always have good team mates. Which means you will end up spending a bunch of time on a mission, and fail. Especially if you are on hard with inadequate team mates. Plus some missions spawn you all the way across the map which requires quite a bit of time to get from point A to point B. If you die, that's a lot of wasted time.

I enjoy playing survival and co-op missions but if YOU want to get guaranteed money, survival mode is the answer. IMO. Also team mates cant kill you in survival. Well unless a vehicle just happens to blow up next to you. Other than that, team mates cant kill you in survival. ;)

Martin offers Rooftop Rumble, Mixed Up With Coke, and Trash Talk. Lester has Bust Out. Ron has Base Invaders. Most of Trevors missions pay out good.
Other words, do any missions but don't take missions from Gerald and Simeon :)
And do every mission what you can with buzzard 👍

Which one is the easiest then? :P
If your using a Buzzard I'd say Trash Talk. Without the chopper I'd say Rooftop Rumble. You can kill most of the enemies with a sniper from across the street, and a fast getaway car makes it pretty simple.

Trash Talk and Mixed Up With Coke are both very easy Martin missions that take about 5-10 minutes solo and give 15k and 13.5k a pop respectively, and Martin gives the missions out fairly often because his mission pool isn't as large as Simeon's and Lester's. Haven't tried Rooftop Rumble but it's probably also a very good way.
Also, remember to start selling cars again - after spending so many hours with over 30 million dollars I forgot how useful it is to sell Ballers and complete Simeon's requests.
