What's this duct farming? Is it this mission that you get 9k for 90 seconds work? Rinse and repeat?

So yeah, my character was reset and Social Club shows all her stats as zeroes, except for the money earned and spent. When I tried to log in last night it said no crew and no money, today it said I was a member of Rock Paper Shotgun (as I should be) and I had $49k, but no characters... So I'm pretty sure it's buggered. I don't mind starting again with all that cash, though!
 
Just had a 4 hours stint online and all seemed good. Not happy about this character deletion problem though, hopefully it isn't permanent.

I just wish i still had my level 19 character and $205.000 pad along with the money invested in cars... Had to start over with just $18.000 (only money i hadn't banked) and zero skill stats. :(
 
I'm online but I can't join any activities or change session... I'm stuck on a loading screen and I'm scared for my character.
 
So It seems as if the servers only work from 5pm- 5am for me. weird... o well, I guess no quick sesh before football today
 
Will there be more than one wave of invites when the servers are back up? I never got an invite earlier.

Still struggling to see what is so fun about GTA Online. All you guys are talking about is racing and grinding missions to make money.

Yup, Because no Heist yet.. And i kinda getting irritated on the server thing..

Find a friend and boost. To me racing is the easiest way. Also steal a car from the AI and sell it at a Mod Shop.

You can try to level up to level 15 to do the Violent Duct job that pays $9000. Also you can sell suv's to Los Santos Customs for a nice 3.5k payout.
 
Guys ive just lost my character do i make a new one like its asking or wait it out? Think i read someone say dont create a new one.:confused::boggled:

The Land rover vehicles pay the most. There is one Land Rover that pays out $9000 undamaged. So, yeah, selling vehicles is a great way to make money.
