Did you just check in one lobby or did you join others? Sometimes you need to keep joining a new session for things to start spawning.

Speaking of trying to get things to spawn, earlier I was trying to get a Tailgater to spawn. It was a wanted vehicle by Simeon but it wasn't showing up at the golf course. I joined many new sessions, but nothing showed up. I got bored, and decided to go around the back to the golf carts. I took one, and just started driving it around for the lulz. Get them up to speed and they can be quite quick through the city streets. I was just driving around near the Burton LSC, and I noticed what looked to be a Bagger parked up opposite Bob Mulét. I thought to myself, "Nah... that can't be a Bagger,", because it wasn't wanted by Simeon. But I scooted on over in my faded red golf cart, and sure enough, it was a Bagger. I quickly abandoned the cart and hopped onto the Bagger to mod it up and store it. I got a wanted level, because apparently Simeon wanted it (it wasn't on the texts, new bug perhaps?), got shot at by an angry pedestrian (most likely the owner huehue), a few cops went PEWPEWPEW, but I managed to lose them at the LSC and mod it up. So far I have 7 out of the 10 cars I wanted already because of my cheap taste in cars :p. Now all that's left to find is a Tailgater, Youga and a hearse.

The Tailgater literally NEVER spawns, I swear. I'm glad I bought one in from SP before the glitch was patched.

I've found Tailgaters at the Maze Bank Arena, which is where I found the one I have in my garage. I even encountered one being driven by an NPC.

As for the hearse, it was one lobby, but like I said, I'll get my friend to double check it again.

I always see Tailgaters being driven around by joyrider NPCs... when I don't need one. :grumpy:

I never see joyrider NPCs either. I don't even think I've seen my old friend Mr. Joyrider-In-Grey-Sentinel-XS-Who-Always-Spawns-Just-After-I-Spawn in a while either.

Oh my god, you saw him too? I used to always race him through the hills! :lol:

I'm always seeing joyriders. Usually in Patriots or Tailgaters. I saw a joyrider in a Patriot yesterday who just completely ploughed through a Dubsta like it was nothing.

I remember one time on my old character I decided to chase him and try and immobilize his car. I think I started around Weazel Plaza and I finally got him just going off the highway at the Grand Senora Desert.

I once did something similar. I chased a joyrider in a Tailgater from Rockford Hills all the way to Paleto Bay in my Comet. That guy did not want to stop. :lol:
 
I remember doing a lawnmower race with a bunch of GTPers, I might've even been one of those. That was truly awful. I remember very slowly going up a hill in El Burro, and I drove onto the wrong side of the road and then I heard all of these voices on mics screaming "No Katie! You're on the wrong side of the road! You'll get hit!". I looked up to see a Rancher coming straight at me, and I tried to move out of the way but I had no power and the Rancher pushed me right back down the hill.

I'm not familiar with any tricks to get them to spawn, but send a friend request to GTPorsche and I'll try to help you out.

Edit: I've done a lawnmower race with friends at the old dirtbike track near sandy shores. That was the weirdest 20 minutes ever.. and that was only two laps.
 
It's been a extremely long time since I've posted in here... I guess i'll update my situation.

I've always had the apartment across from the Maze Bank(I think it was the cheapest one?) and with the most recent update I bought the 10-car garage next to the airport and Los Santos Customs. I grabbed a bunch of random cars and put them in the new garage, uninsured, so I can always have something quick that I don't care about when cars don't spawn.

I'm level 95(was 70-something by January, haven't really played much since GT6 came out/got BO2 for a friend). I occasionally like strolling the streets in a tank (cause it's the safest means of transportation). I really like going up Mt. Chilliad in random cars at random times.
I currently have less than $30,000.

And I like putting machines where they don't belong;

Would I be seen as smug if I say that I still have my Tailgater that I found online?

For some reason now when I play Coveted it reminds me of the days in Golden Eye 007 when we would put "Big Heads" on. At that point it was so easy to get a headshot. I feel like I am wearing a big head now and the AI shoot me in it right away when I crest the hill. :lol:

Exactly the same feeling here! I get amused that, when you spawn the chopper, the AI just becomes God and shoots you from I don't know which distance with a 🤬 Rifle, and you can only kill them from the same distance with the sniper. :lol:

Oh, I still have my Tailgater I found at the Golf Club in January.

I'm not worried about a Tailgater but I'm struggling to find a Bagger. I'm thinking about asking anyone with a Bagger to all jump in a lobby with me and get theirs out, it might encourage one to spawn for me.
 
So, I managed to get GTA to almost work last night after clearing all the browser stuff you can clear and rebooting. It was playable but still had a few tiny stutters while driving around in the city and racing a handful of times in the desert and the side of the hills away from the city. Then I raced Grand Tour and it became horrible as we entered the city. But it was ok again after I the quit race lobby.

Spawned on the beach, decided to go for a jog along the river, went to pick up a car from the first parking lot I came across. Lo and behold I trip over a beautiful green F620 which I've been trying to find for about two months now. Grabbed it, insured it, found it can't get any visual upgrades... spent a quarter of my money upgrading it anyway. :)

Then I updated GT6 which didn't take near as long as I've heard, and called it a night.

Power up this morning and I get a message in SD telling me the system can't start and I may need to reinstall the operating system! It restarted ok, but I wonder if maybe I need a new hard drive now or if something else is wrong. I probably don't have enough space on the drive I used to backup my old 120GB system and tansfer it to this 320GB... so I guess I'll need two.


EDIT: I was racing non-contact too. Found I enjoyed it far more than in most games. I guess the frustating morons in GTA online are getting to me a bit.
 
There's something that wasn't in the patch notes. Now if you blow up someones personal vehicle using a Lazer or a Buzzard, you don't have to pay for their insurance. Pretty fair if you ask me as it was like that for the tanks since forever. Chrome Adders, here I come!
