I thought you could buy garages that don't count as properties?
My brother tried this over the weekend. He bought an apartment with a 6 stall garage. This was 1 property. Then he bought a 2 stall garage only to find out that his first apartment was gone. So from the experiment it seems you can only have 1 "property" at a time. So chose wisely.

My next purchase will be an apartment with 10 stall garage. I still don't know why they showed us being able to look out our apartments in the mp trailer. Maybe there is a certain property that allows you to look out your window. But I don't think so.

They mention that the more expensive apartments have excellent views in the game, IIRC - maybe it's a mistake on R*s part, or maybe it's something more... sinister.

Did that.... no Trophy :indiff:
I just checked my achievements [360] and you are right, I don't have that either. Hmm maybe there is a way to somehow buy an apartment AND garage. Maybe you have to buy an apartment that does not have a garage, then buy a garage to go with it?

With as many problems as this game is having online right now, who knows. Could be anything.

Maybe the achievement actually requires you to buy one of each type of property (and an insured vehicle) - if you look on the property map on the real estate website, there are some properties which have a house icon and some properties which have a garage icon.

I got this trophy by buying the 134k apartment.
Sounds like maybe you just have to buy a specific property. I am not concerned about getting the achievement, I just want more than 10 cars online. :guilty:

I thought it would be like TDU2 where you could buy all properties and have a lot of cars. Unless I am missing something, that is not the case with this game.

I got it a while back with the 128k apartment and my insured Futo.

It does suck though, I want to have lots of properties so I can store more cars too..

Also I think that the one they showed in the online trailer was the Eclipse Towers apartment.

Apparently you need to buy the property from the estate agent on the in game game web browser, and not just by walking up to a property which is for sale.
Make sure you actually have the car too (make sure you have claimed the insurance if you trash it).

Oh okay. I will keep this in mind when I purchase my next property which will have a 10 car garage. Its just so fun to drive to the location then approach the property and buy it in person.

Not sure if everyone knows this but you do have an option to host "private" rooms. I usually setup "friends only" rooms. This way you don't ever have to worry about people online ruining your experience. Does anyone else do this?

That's what I usually do. Plus most of the time im doing jobs. Saving up cash. :).. I always put my Cash into the Bank after a mission. Someone jacked my Futo >:c. After restarting my Character. I got a 5 series though :dopey:. And I had a Sandking XL, But my Insurance decided to Disappear and not give it back >:C.

Im Planning on hosting Races, Death match, Missions, Jobs later today.

I do but whenever I do a mission I get thrown into free roam with other players.
Quickest way out of that situation is to warp back to one of the campaign characters asap. Plus it saves when you do this too.

In fact whenever I leave the game for the night. I ALWAYS warp back to the campaign first. I never shut the game off while in the mp.

I'll be around too, if the servers are up and if my internet is cooperating.

Also, took an in-game shower last night, and it's easy to get maybe 100 RP by singing into your mic. Though there's a limit on how much you can shower per day...I got a message saying I couldn't shower anymore today. As for the singing, I just put a random song on my iPhone and held it up to the mic. It did the trick.

Also, my character was stuck with body armor on. The actual armor was on, but the bar was empty. How do I get it off?

I just play music whole time through Robberies etc. So I don't have to talk xD. Does the trick...

I had that problem with my mask. I even went to the inventory [hold back on 360] and still could not get mask off. So while in my inventory I put on glasses and that worked. So you might have to experiment with that.

Good to be safe. I didn't know you were able to quick switch in MP. I won't lie. Picking up those bounties set by others was pretty fun. I wish I were able to just dick around with friends without taking money penalties
