Or Rockstar actually is speaking the truth, and they underestimated the time needed. No one knows right now, except for Rockstar themselves.

Yeah, I think they definitely underestimated the time needed. I also don't think all the hacking/glitching fiasco's helped them at all either...

Oh man, if only they let us make Dubsta 6x6 races... I'd make an off-road race named Roads Are Too Mainstream.

I do have an idea for a similar race using the Panto, though.

So rooftop rumble seems to be completely and utterly broken. Played it with @Jet Badger and @Turbo Lag earlier and kept failing the mission when the documents were meant to spawn for various reasons, including being out of lives, an enemy being killed, a friendly being killed, and for the documents being destroyed before they even spawned...

Like I said in the chat yesterday @Jet Badger, I really think Rockstar is against us trying to make money. Trash Talk was barely much better as we failed because we killed the crew boss. It's just flat out annoying and it doesn't help that they keep changing missions (see Coveted). Just before you guys joined online, I was trying to do RR myself. Twice, I spawned right next to the parking lot and just died instantly. I don't think I'm going to bother grinding properly any more, I'm just going to do the money glitch if possible.

To be fair, RR and Coveted were... unusually easy for their payouts. Most missions with similar difficulty paid out a lot less than half of what they did.
Either way there's still Lester missions and some less rewarding Martin missions so hope is not lost, and RR can still be done with friends.

Yes, I agree that they were unusually easy for their payouts. But instead of making those missions harder could they have not made all the other missions have a larger payout? I know that this isn't really practical but as long as each mission is different, there will almost always be one or two missions that will be unusually easy. My main issue is not really the payouts, it's more the fact that they keep increasing prices elsewhere or already have incredibly inflated prices as it is (ridiculously overpriced car mods and clothes) and personally I don't find missions to be fun. I know for a fact that many others are in the same situation here too.

They just want people to buy into shark cards, hence why they cleared out all the hacked cash ages ago.

Of course. It's not like the cash was illegitimately obtained and everyone and their mother had a tank and an Entity.

It's not really as easy as giving all missions a larger payout. People would still grind RR and Coveted because they're used to them. R* doesn't want you to grind the same missions over and over, they want you to do deathmatches and races and other missions. Race payouts give $5000 solo and even more with other players for a 4 minute race, and I think deathmatches give out a lot as well - why is nobody doing these?

They just want people to buy into shark cards, hence why they cleared out all the hacked cash ages ago.

Literally no competent developer would have let people keep hacked cash, micro transactions or not...

Not disagreeing with either. I think it was fine to clear out the hacked cash.

Yeah I understand that it isn't that easy, which is why I said it probably wasn't practical. I just used it as an example. I don't think people would still grind RR or Coveted just because they're used to them, that is, if they are more difficult or there is a more efficient mission. I still find RR to be the most efficient with 2 people as it can be completed fairly quickly.

I didn't even know there are such races. Which races payout 5k? I'll be doing them way more if they're fast enough. I think deathmatches may be avoided as they induce competition and some people simply aren't good at them.

Any race over 4 minutes will pay out $5k+ for a first place finish. Maybe not a huge amount but if you have a few friends willing to help you out it can be a nice cash boost if you're running too low.

I was fine with it too, but they have to give some leverage for players to enjoy the game, spending 500k on a car is absurd.

True but micro transactions play a huge part in the game and they lose out if they don't sell them, doesn't bother me that all the cash is gone anyway.

But they're absolutely nerfing the jobs, which isn't right at all.

I tend to stay away from both deathmatch variants and capture as i'm not very good at them. Most of my shooting involves going after peoples bounties and the occasional person who annoys me and I want to get revenge on them

Yeah same with me, although I usually have my own issue where I cannot join any games for the life of me thanks to my connection. I don't see how DM or capture can be efficient for earning money even though they might be fun.

That's odd. @Jahgee1124 and I have completed Trash Talk many times and never had this happen. I'd say it's just a glitch. Trash Talk is the only mission I grind these days. I haven't even tried RR since they patched it the first time.

At the beginning of TT, my car also keeps getting destroyed as I try to get into it. This means I have to call insurance, get the car back, and get it delivered again if I need to get to the trucks. On top of this, yesterday I was driving with @E28 and about half way during the drive my car literally disappeared. I haven't really had that happen before and it's not exclusive to the job, but all these issues just tend to happen more during missions.

The game is riddled with bugs and problems and I feel like we're just being the guinea pigs for testing before the next-gen releases are out.

Damn, that really sucks. I've not had very many problems so far, although mine and @Jahgee1124's Buzzards once spawned on top of each other and then promptly killed one another.

I haven't had any issues other than people being complete idiots. I haven't played with the update yet, so I can't really say too much about it though.

The double spawning of aircraft in general is a damn pain. Especially with planes.

I don't even bother playing with randoms; either you end up doing everything or they fail the mission on purpose. Occassionally you'll get a decent set of players though.

So apparently all of my fully modded racing cars are now faster than ever. I do a lot of hotlapping and I've noticed that my laptimes drop from 1-5 seconds depending on the track. It just feels... easier to drive. I dunno but I'll have to look into it more tomorrow.
