^I tried planning out a route on a tablet for the Flags test. It was going well until I got to the first flag, then I forgot all about my plan and flew around aimlessly. I eventually gave up on setting a decent time, then managed to sneak under the limit for silver. Sometimes not trying hard is better, I guess.

If you have trouble maintaining a low altitude all the time, then you should try only going in low when you get near a checkpoint. It only measures how low you are when you hit the markers, so if you just move down everytime you are about to hit one, it should be a bit easier.

Did you watch the ground level video? He clearly states how the average height is calculated.
 
I managed an average height of 2.3. That was good enough for me.
 
In the flag collecting one try to do it in a spiral or snake pattern and doing a lot of sharp turns. I did it by going clockwise and referring to the blips on the minimap. Golded it with over 10 seconds to spare. 👍
 
I just finished it and got gold, by a mere .050 of a second.

Patterns help, but the main key is to make sharp turns as much as possible. While it may seem impossible to suddenly turn the Besra from in between two building to on top of the skyscraper, it is the key to grabbing the flags as fast as possible. Also slow down at certain areas.

Remember that the Besra is extremely agile, so you can make tight turns more easily than you think.
 
Anyone else getting disconnected from sessions?
 
I was getting those frequently yesterday.. except for late last night. Guessing it's high server load due to the event weekend?
 
Did the playlist just now since my PC just died... The payout is pretty good only putting up with randoms is pretty annoying

The best I was doing for that was about 20 flags in half the time of gold. I ended up making a risky move and crashed into the ground with 4 flags left and 20 seconds.

Yeah it seems it is definitely possible to finish in under 1:30 as in the vid @CallmeDan posted. Although I'm not a very competitive person myself, I'll have to give that route a try. :)

There's a crashed UFO 190 or so feet deep at Poleto Bay, use a cargo bob to get it there

@Slash and I looked every where for that thing the other day to no avail.
 
The submarine would be much easier to use if it had a first-person view. It's difficult to navigate shallow terrain in murky water, and your camera constantly hits the surface of the water, making you unable to see what's in front of you.

Scuba gear would be very useful online, as well.
 
I glitched the game on accident and ran around on the bottom of the ocean for 2 hours and couldn't find it.
 
I just went in a submarine and had a look for myself and found it pretty easily. I looked at this map, selected UV Invert and headed for the most northern cross, and it was there.

The dinghy is available online (shoot the driver in a Merryweather boat pickup and steal the boat) but it doesn't give scuba gear.
 
Forget what I said about the chrome striped Dominator. :ouch: It's only $3500.
 
So, event playlist is slightly retarded, and PSN DDoSing means that the R* servers seem dodgy.

I ONLY WANT THAT 🤬 PARACHUTE!
