Well, I think those people meant the AIs in Rooftop Rumble had extremely fast Grangers. :/

How does vehicle armor work? Does it allow your vehicle to take more gunfire or survive more high speed crashes?

I think both, I put it on all my cars and I notice that in races with huge jumps when people land they blow up, where as my car stays fine

Since R* brilliantly decided not to give players a way of breaking missile locks (Like dropping flares, etc), your best bet to shake a missle is to aileron roll while holding one of your rudder buttons (L1/R1). Keep rolling until the missile detonates. If you're doing it correctly, the missile will follow you and spin behind you, and detonate close to your plane, but it won't damage your plane.

I just go up and down and flail, and I do a great job avoiding them, but I lose direction and speed.

The vehicle's entire frame is stronger. Rather then getting some camber on your Bison with no armor, 100% armor will take longer to happen.

So, if I land on my back bumper in a 100% armor Futo, will I survive?
 
Wait, so If i do a huge jump and land on my rear bumper in my armorless futo, I'll blow up? I know what I'm doing in public lobbies..

Both. The former helps for weaker vehicles and the latter is pointless if you can avoid crashing.

You can survive a fall from any height if you land properly.
 
alright whose down to run some missions? just tried a random lobby "titan of a job" where both my teammates promptly died, so I had to clear the whole area, then grab the titan, then blow it up trying to take off (ok nobodys perfect)
 
This game is just so weird... For reasons I can't explain, I decided to look over some of my stats. Everything looked pretty unremarkable until I checked the "General" tab and noticed that my "Average Time Per Session" is 213504016383d 16h 57m 28s... (Did I REALLY play for over 583 million years last night?) Maybe I should lay off... no??

P.S. Come to think of it I DID play Coveted with a couple of randoms it it did seem to take longer than usual...

I've got some pretty crazy stats as well. In the first 2 weeks of GTA: Online being out, I had apperantly already played 4000+ hours. And also this:

Highest speed in a road vehicle 301.23 mph
Road vehicle driven fastest Ambulance

They do move pretty good when dropped from a cargobob.... Although the under steer a bit at that speed!

OH! Yeah, now I remember. I did it a while back. I think I went too fast for the game, because the Ambulance got stuck in midair for a good minute or so. Then it slowly started to drift to the ground. It was so messed up by that point, that it ended up as a rocking horse :lol:
