Took me 3hrs & 20 mins to get the special crate notification to pop up, now just got to wait for the damn crate to drop. I have amused myself by slaughtering the entire city with my hammer. 👍

Yep. Just got mine too. Took about the same time, just over three hours. Also got the Los Santos Belle t-shirt. Nice bonus.
Shame the torso tattoos show through on the red parts though. Oh well, tattoos are now gone. :D

Looks like I won't be getting the t-shirt. I'm not that annoyed by it. I have better clothes.

I played a few hours yesterday, but had a 'connection error' after playing the 2nd set of the playlst. Then work called so that ended my session. So today I was able to get the mask (boy that playlist is tedious), but was not able to get a special crate to drop, even I was the only soul in a public lobby. I had plenty of time to finish robbing the final stores though...but then work called so no weekend off for me.

I also got the mask... Which I probably won't use. I tried the invite only thing and also missed the shirt.. which I would have used... *sighs

Managed to get the T-Shirt on Saturday, which I'm pretty happy about. Joined a friend, and the notification popped up, so I grabbed my Besra, then flew around until it dropped, parachuted down, and snagged it. Not 5 seconds later 2 guys in a Buzzard came, but I used my heavy sniper, nabbed their heli and got out of there.

As for the mask, ehh, my character's too damn good looking anyway. Well, it's pretty average apart from the horrendous facial scarring, but that can be covered up with some aviators.

I meant for female characters. Are they exactly the same or are there any differences?

Sorry for the questions, but I can't use my PS3 at the moment.

What are the objectives in that mission? I almost never play new missions.

I think Death from Above is an older mission - IIRC you have to go to a mansion, kill someone, get a photo and return to Madrazo, but they're surrounded by armed guards AND the police, and there's no real easy way to kill them and get out.

Anyone else got the new missions?

I got 'Chop Chop' from Trevor and 'Effin Lazers' from Martin.

Both of them are 2 player missions and both of them involved taking down targets using air vehicles.

:boggled:

Pretty sure Chop Chop is. More then 2 players. Effing Lazers is indeed.

Anyone wanting to rank up:

Join Simeone's Blow Up (one with yellow banshee)

Call in a tank or buzzard. Go to the cars and move banshee into alley corner behind the building adjacent to the lot. Now it's stuffed away and safe. Blow up the others. Now the fun begins. Cops cops cops they just keep coming. Blow these guys up for a good 10-15 minutes. Then delivery the banshee. Profit.

I don't recall the RP and payout but it's huge and this is actually a good time. The fiance and I used tanks and had a blast. Got some wheb pigs fly awards and stuff too.

Can either use a buzzard or snipe them from a vantage point.. which happens to be the outer ledge of the tennis courts for one of the spots possible. That's where I do the sniping from. Only issue with playing the mission with randoms is they have a habit of just running straight through the automatic gates and getting gunned down in seconds. That sniping point would be great if it were possible to get the photo from that spot since it would only take one bullet to get the mission done.

Defender is the best mission. $12.9k and 2300 RP for shooting down 5 helicopters.

I do Mixed Up With Coke, but drag out the process really long so I get more money. I get about $20,700 and over 3K RP.

1: Start mission
2: Call Pegasus for a Buzzard
3: Obtain your Buzzard and land on top of the buildings around the construction site
4: Take out a sniper rifle (Preferably the regular Sniper Rifle without a suppressor or the Heavy Sniper) and get headshots on every enemy you can see
5: When you think you've taken them all out, move to another building and look again, then fly to the other side and take out the remaining enemies
6: Get into your Buzzard, select the lock on missiles, and destroy the cement trucks
7: Stay in third person view when chasing after far away trucks, that way, if an enemy SUV spawns below and in front of you, you can fire a missile immediately when your crosshair locks onto them
8: Blow up the remaining trucks and the enemy Buzzard (Optional, but suggested since they will attack you if they see you and you can get some extra RP for killing them)

I have used Blow it Up as a quick cash cow..
Start the mission.
Call for a Buzzard and get in it.
Fly to the rival dealership and blow up the cars. If I get a wanted level then I evade it by flying around.. If not I fly back to the Helipad.
I get back into my vehicle and drive back to my apt. and take a few bong rips. Go down to my garage and select a car to cruise back to Simeon's dealership. If I wait the full time it pays $20k and 5000+rp. I usually get between 12k and 16k.

And what is with Death From Above. Why are people playing that now? That mission is the worst.

It's actually not that bad. If I feel like a challenge while money farming I do that mission solo, on hard. :P

Those cop kills I mention give 25rp. You can rack a decent bonus killing them as you wait.

I wanna we pulled like 9,000 RP

I see all these money farming methods consist of Buzzards. What if you was saving for one?

THEN, what would you do?
The same mission as before.. except drive to the rival dealership... drive the two cars closest to the entrances into the center of the row of cars so that the explosion will destroy all of the cars.. continue on my way... only real difference is that using a a Buzzard costs less than a sticky bomb ..however shooting a gas tank with a sniper rifle costs $147 and absolutely gets a wanted level.. Buzzard method sometimes bypasses it.
