So, remember how I needed to kill enemies with the night vision goggles to get the chrome bike rims? Well...DONE! I happened to stumble across a random Survival, Processed, my favorite, and racked up somewhere around 70 kills with a heavy pistol to unlock them. Literally couldn't be any easier.

Sad part is, I hate almost all the chrome bike rims. They don't look all that great on street bikes, but if only I had a fourth garage to get a Hexor or a Western Daemon...Rockstar...

On the other side, the heavy pistol is so good against unarmoured NPCs. Such a great way to conserve ammo.

Lastly, anybody know if the Capture Creator test glitch still works, and if so, on PS3? (You could test your own capture 50 times, and it would unlock the sports chrome rims.)
 
Lucky, lucky me. I'm in a public free roam lobby and I'm cruising around in my Vestra. I'm at the maximum altitude I can fly, and a smuggler plane appears! I take a quick dive towards it on the east side of the map. I fly straight into the tail section of it (It was a Mammatus). Take a guess what happened next.

Abso-frickin-lutely nothing. I respawned on a beach and see the plane fly away. I jump up a mountain and request my Armored Kuruma so I can chase after it, but it just flies parallel to the shore and escapes a minute later. Ridiculous.
 
The Vestra isn't exactly the bulkiest plane. Might wanna keep in mind that crashing into a plane won't always destroy it.* If you had a clear line of sight, the heavy sniper could probably finish it off.


*The Titan and the Cargobob seem to do this fairly often, but I never thought about the Mammatus.

But I was going at the Vestra's maximum speed! The force of the impact should have dislodged one of the wings/disabled the horizontal stabilizers and the explosion should have critically damaged other parts of the plane!
 
As I said before, it won't always destroy the plane, especially when you're in a smaller aircraft. I've seen it happen before, and the game seems a little weird on whether or not the plane will explode.

I've dropped a Cavalcade from a Cargobob at max height and had it land square on the wheels. One would think the front axle would be squeezing out of the hood and the rear axle would be in the trunk or stuck to the roof.

One would think...

As Custom878 said, the physics online are different from singleplayer. The thing is, cars in the game can survive if they land on all four wheels sometimes. It helps if they're armored.

I'm thinking 3 people total from GTplanet. One lobby. Each team lets the other win one race so that all four of us can get the stupid trophy. This is the stupidest game mode in the game, but I'd really like to unlock the metal paint respray.

The physics are the same. The deformation is just a little more forgiving and none of the cars have gas tanks.

Yeah, I clicked the links, I googled "How to verify email on Social Club" and made sure I followed the steps, I even found a page on Social Club that said I had it verified.

I get emails from them all the time as well.

Funny thing is, I just did fhat Capture glitch this afternoon. :sly:

So, if anyone on PS3 wants to grind the Prison Break Heist tomorrow, just let me/help me get my Daily Objectives done, then I'll be good for a decent amount of time.
 
I did my 7th daily objective and the prison heist last night. Went from 22k right up to 550k in a nights work. Not too shabby. I'll be on again tonight at 8 30 pm BST if anyone wants to do it. Think we have 2 other team member not including myself already wanting to do it again so just 1 more needed.

Unless carfreak is in again. (Not sure what your GTP name is. :guilty: )

I haven't got my rebate either. I'm in the GTP crew, my email has been verified, and I got an email saying that I had joined the mailing list. This is a load of crap, Rockstar.
 
So if anybody's ready, I can launch the heist on PS3. Only thing is, I've gotta head out sometime this afternoon for a haircut (Getting a little shaggy.), and I'll have to be off for work around 5 PM EST.

I'd like to do the heist at least two times this weekend. That should put me somewhere in the ballpark of getting the T20.
 
I wanna do the heists but my PS3 isn't connecting today :(

Looks like I'll have to do it either later on in the evening or tomorrow.
