Will the cars stay there?

EDIT: We will NOT be BASE jumping at all. We will drive straight to them. Going along the pre-determined trail will take way too long and will increase the chance of us getting killed.
Cars despawn upon exiting the bank.. having the garage behind the bikes is optimal.

It's real easy if you buy the property just south of the where you pickup the bikes. Everyone goes and gets on the bikes, then just runs next door and you enter your apartment while they are standing nearby and you bring them in with you. When you are all in the apartment you go to your door and select to move everyone to your garage. There you hop into your Karuma and head up the west coast straight to the boat, with the greatest concern being which radio station you are to choose. Easy. Don't have the Karuma out for the mission, select a different vehicle on the outfit selection screen so the Karuma is in your garage when you get them.

^ is info that will save you a lotta frustration.

I had my Insurgent ready at Tinsel Towers, and let's say the ride on the Western Highway turned into a road trip. But it seems an armored Kuruma is unanimously the best vehicle to escape recently robbed banks.

0604 Las Lagunas is the apartment right behind the bikes during the heist. It's a pain in the butt sometimes when someone doesn't own that apartment (like me) or an armored Kuruma. My closest apartment is the Eclipse towers so I have to drive over to it and risk being seen by the cops. I've only been able to buzz everyone into my apartment once since everytime after that everyone just went on the bikes on their own.

Would it be possible to ride the bikes to another apartment, say Del Perro? Might not be the most convienent ride, but it's something.

My main question is, will it let me access my apartment at all?

Yes, but your properties will not show up on the map so you'll need to know your way to it beforehand. You can access it only when cops aren't directly within your line of sight (or have you in their line of sight), but you'll still be wanted.

:p

You can access any garage or apt...the key is to be out of sight from law enforcement. . I have used alta st. Driving through the nearby parking garages to lose the heat then parking outside and running in.

Edit: tree'd

I guess I will bite the bullet for our heist and buy the garage. Currently moving cars from one property to another because the "storage" system still confuses me.

Make sure you have a Karuma or an Insurgent in it. Side note, smell dinner, might be almost done, so chances are I'll have to go eat real quick. Shouldn't be long, I have a friend who can help us with the heist.

Sorry for all the delays.

I honestly think the apartment is a waste of money if you didn't already own it. Especially when you have a competent crew and many options of escaping easily.

I have the Kuruma ready. First slot. I'll need to remember to not make it my default. I'll try and join a random heist lobby to set the car I spawn with something else. Maybe my T20.

EDIT: When people say the AI Lazer in Prison Break Finale is stupid, THEY WEREN'T KIDDING. Since the Buzzard pilot I had was the most incompetent pilot I ever met, I could shoot down the Lazer if I was able to hold a pistol while flying. That is how close I was. If I was really trying, I could probably shoot the pilot out of the jet.

People really have issues with the designated route? I make it to the boat with 2+ minutes to spare almost every time.

You have a higher chance of failing and it's unnecessary to go all the way around past the Altruist Camp.

You can actually drive up the mountain to some extent. There's a "road" (it's marked on the map at least) that leads down to the river and you can drive to the boat from there. It's somewhat safer because the cops will stop spawning, but you can still skip the jump and save some yourself time.

When I completed Criminal Mastermind, I just waited for a cop to come to my team and we quickly took them down and jacked their car. That's usually how the people I do it with do it. We decided not to try the apartment method since nobody in my crew has ever used that method.

On a side note, I find it ironic that a lot of others I play with now want to go for CM since I did it. Too bad I know for a fact that most of them won't ever be able to complete it...

I've never actually done it on the bikes, I've done it like 20 times and every time I've gone either to my apartment or someone has had the apartment right by the bikes

Thanks for the help tonight @CallmeDan and MadMax. (No clue what his GTID is.)

We ended up doing the Kuruma from the garage method. Worked out really well; think we had just over 4 minutes left when we reached the boat. Ended up having 1.4 million before purchasing the Savage, and ended the heist with 1.33 after Max gave us all 30% of the take. Total loss of $77k, but it was definatly worth it for the amount of fun I had tonight. Two questions, though:

How is the Savage not overpowered? Sure it's slow, but the firepower makes me just: :mischievous:

Now what to do with the leftover money? I could either upgrade a few cars, or save up for the Hydra...

No problem! Anytime you need me, just send me a message. :)

I hope you enjoy the Savage. It's a badass helicopter, despite having surprisingly low armor. It would be perfect if it had a few things:

• The gunner & pilot were seated in the correct positions
• The cannon could be used and moved by the gunner when the pilot didn't need it
• More armor so it wouldn't get show down so easily
• An ability to change the color for use in free roam and missions. Try changing the color in races. Dark blue looks awesome.

By the way, MadMax's GTP name is @MadMax.

Oops!

So I've been grinding Editor and Thief for nearly $11,000 every 7 minutes (mission start to mission start) barring any unforseen incidents and, to change things up, Pier Pressure when it's light out so that I can easily pick off the targets from a safe distance.

Well, Pier Pressure is a Gerald mission and therefor draws no wanted level regardless of my activities (I stormed Zancudo one run just for kicks), so I decided to cause a little mayhem. I started with a sawed-off and moved up to my special carbine, but made the mistake of switching over to the combat mg and racked up almost $24 grand in ammo loss for a measly $18,000 mission reward.

Oh well, it was fun anyway.

^ Before I started really budgeting I would play survivals.. then I realized I could save $15k+ on ammo by doing other missions.. now I kinda miss doing survivals. I farm Blow Up more than any others.. I start it and go take a break to eat or whatever.. come back and complete.. $18k profit each time.

Any mission where you can use a Pegasus vehicle is a good way to make a profit. $200 for bringing one out of storage beats the amount of money you would be spending on ammo, especially if you were going to use sticky bombs since those are $600 each without the discounts.
