How well do the freemode events pay?
Didn't had enough time to try all of them out although I did try out the one where you need to go through checkpoints in a air vehicle and the payouts are actually not that bad. The first time doing it, I made 10k. Glad Rockstar added some new activites that you can do in free mode that pays out like 10k or higher.

If you manage to beat the par time in a Time Trial, you get like $50k

Keep in mind even I struggled a bit to beat it at first.

Incase if Rockstar didn't fix the disappearing props bug and for those who are affected by it, i've found a temporary solution which doesn't fix the bug but prevents it from happening. I've made a post about it in another forum dedicated to GTA Online last week. Heres what the thread said.

"I've had this issue for quite a while, I've posted about it on the Rockstar support page. They did responded and told me to reset my profile settings on GTA V. However it turns out that didn't work. They did offer me other solutions but it all involved like restoring the default setting on your PS4 or reformat the PS4, etc. I didn't do any of those because I was lazy to set everything back up.

So time has passed by and I've learned to deal with it. However later on I found out what was causing this bug to happen. It doesn't really matter on where you place the props as some people on the GTA Forums pointed out that it happens in the parking lot in Vespucci beach. It seems like this has something to do with the dynamic props being buggy. Apparently, if you were to scroll through the dynamic props category, after spending like a couple of minutes on the creator, it activates the bug. Causing one of the props to obviously disappear. So my solution, don't scroll through dynamic props. If you really need to use dynamic props for whatever you're doing, especially if you're doing a wall ride race or anything like that, place the dynamic props then immediately save the job. *If you also have no plans on adding dynamic props to your job and accidentally scroll through the category, save, exit, then reload.* That way if it does happen you won't have to worry on losing the progress *or lose very little progress* you've made with your jobs due to it being affected by the bug.

One thing I want to point out is whatever prop is being affected by the bug, it will disappear off the radar and on the map as well however, the game will think it's still there. Meaning the prop limit counter won't go down. This can be frustrating for some people. Luckily I also notice just yesterday that props on ground that are affected by this, it will still be possible to remove them if you hover over their spot where they were before.

I'm honestly not making this up. I know most of you guys don't enjoy doing those wall ride jobs / modded jobs so opinions are acceptable. Maybe it might not work for everyone even if you avoid scrolling through the dynamic props category but I've tested this and the solution works for me. I see this as something Rockstar could easily fix and I hope in next week's update they fix this because they did respond to my ticket on the support forums. Not only that but I notice when you place down a dynamic prop and then select it again, it changes to a different category and many other things as well which I don't feel like mentioning. Yeah so dynamic props is really buggy. If this solution does help for you then that's good."

How often are the free mode events in a lobby?

Also, the one wear you have to destroy as much as possible is amaaaaaazing

What car did you use? I can't do it in the P20

The time trial is very easy with an Akuma, but I first completed it with a T20. The NPC motorists seem to be even more of a nuisance while doing the TT.
You get $51,000 for the first time you complete it under par time and $1,000 for every other time after that.

My first attempt of the Time Trial is with my Double T. I came a few seconds too late, mostly because I don't have a planned route to the dam.

Just had an experience of the new Free Roam events: flying low! I won about 12k for flying my Buzzard along the Western Highway up to Zancudo bridge, accumulating 11k feet. This event also tells me how they can't have this working on last gen: by having aircraft all over Los Santos, and having the players who die just spawn close to them.

These free roam things promote moving to one place quickly, however.

So now that Rockstar has finally posted the 1.29 title update notes in the support site, here are some of the fixes that are worth pointing out that nobody hasn't mention yet.
  • Fixed an issue where part of the Fort Zancudo airbase was restricted in Land Race Creator.
  • Fixed an issue which caused certain vehicles to be delivered with missing parts.
  • Fixed an issue where Spectators could hang on a loading screen when attempting to spectate a player while they are watching a Job cutscene.

The 2nd fix mentioned was probably IMO a good one despite being a owner of a topless Casco because not everyone wants a topless Casco or in other words any car with missing parts. Also for those of you who own a topless Casco or any car with missing parts, did your car revert back to normal. *I know theres one user on GTP who owns a topless Casco besides me.*

I have a topless black fin. Don't know if there had been any issues with that or not.

No I was saying that Rockstar considered not being able to remove or add the roof to the stallion was a issue and I'm going to assume that option for the stallion was suppose to be there ever since the IGG update came out.

Another Freeroam moment. A game of Criminal Damage with some randoms. The top 3 is interesting, and it was close.

1) Guy who used his arsenal of weapons on foot and an intersection, caused 1.991 million damage. Spent 31k of ammo.
2) Another guy, who used a Hydra. He caught on in the last second, destroying airport property. 1.974 million damage. PROFITS!
3) Me in a Rhino, on the freeway bridge, sniping cars passing under. Caused 1.951 million damage. PROFITS AS WELL!

Anyone else notice that people's dots on the maps now have tiny little arrows on them showing which direction they're facing? I don't think those were there before but they're so small that I may have missed it before.

I noticed that like two months ago. Maybe more.

Yeah that's new for PS4. Used to have directional dots on my old PS3.
That time trial is far too hard. Cars just turn into you!

Yeah, my best time so far is a 2:06 in the Armored Kuruma, with a couple not so smooth moments. I may try a bike next time.

I wonder if I can make it on a Hakuchou.
Yeah. I used my Hakuchou to do it and i got a 1:41 and i probably could have knocked 2 or 3 seconds off that if i really pushed it. I noticed that at about 8pm the traffic thins out a little bit so it's a tiny bit easier.

My friend Oleg has a 1:35.996 with a T20.

I have 1:38.7 with an Osiris but can't be bothered to improve it with going against the flow of traffic and dealing with that kind of frustrating RNG.

What is RNG, and do you have to be in a public session to play these activities? Also, do you get to keep the outfit with the wolf head and jacket?

No clue what RNG is but I'm pretty sure the beast outfit is unattainable

The free mode events are fun but afterwards it really just turns into a death match wherever the event is
