Going back on the acrobatics team thing, I'm interested.

Dumped a fair amount of money into buying a Rqpid GT and Banshee today. Been enjoying some of the slower cars recently; it's a nice change from all the Zentornos and Massacros. Even painted up the GT in a dark blue metallic with a blue pearl. Looks almost spot on with the Monaco Blue from the DB9 in GT6.

Now to save up for a Cognicenti, finish the final Hesit for the "A-Team Van", buy a Turismo R, then maybe a Z-Type. Tbat 4th garage better come along soon...

Unable to complete any further heists without a good team, I've fallen poor again.

I've packed up, moved back to the country, took my Phoenix and now live in a 2 car garage.

I'm starting to lose interest in this game.

That's sad, I've spent a lot of time in this and now I just can't find a reason to put the GTA V disc in the PS3.

That's reasonable. I'm pretty sure I've sunk a couple hundred hours into this game and I'm starting to lose interest as well - there's only so many things you can do and there's only so many times you can do those things before they get boring.

on now, for the next couple of hours, PS4, would like to get some heists done, if possible

Have done then entire prison break, and the FINAL Humane Labs Heist

username has a space, DVNT ST8, which doesn't show on GTP.

I feel that way sometimes as well. I have limited the days I play. I almost never play on Mondays and I always skip another day during the week as well. I take a week off when I am on call. There are still many cool things to do. We just need to find a group of regulars and just goof off. Heists are one thing but group trolling a public lobby can still be fun.

I still enjoy getting on for awhile after SNAIL league night and just blowing off some steam. There are good nights and boring ones. Last night started pretty dismal for me. No one was on to play with and I got bored noodling around by myself. I find myself in public lobbies more often these days because of the sheer entertainment. So yesterday was a less than stellar day at work and I just didn't have the patients to deal with anything... But I went to a public lobby anyway. I like to run around and do my errands and try not to get noticed... Right out of the gate, some butt munch nukes me for breathing. I had every intention of making the fool pay but not how you think. I had done my shopping for the night and had nothing better to do so I went into passive and proceeded to follow this dude everywhere he went. Every chance I got I stood in front of him and flipped him off. This went on for a good 20 minutes before I started getting texts. "WTF", " What are you DOING". "KNOCK IT OFF *** *****" No text back... Just kept doing more of the same. After awhile, the weenie bailed on the lobby. It was the most fun I have had in days!! (I am SO gonna do this again!)

I felt the same since October '14. Had been playing it almost every day since launch and had gotten bored. I thought heists would bring back the fun but no.

Was climbing Mt Chiliad in my new Jeep and when I got to the top a Sandking XL approaches and starts ramming me (No idea why). I reverse to the best of my ability but it goes down the mountain and I bail just before it does. I shot him with a vintage pistol and then drove his truck down the mountain to my Jeep. Which, somehow, didn't blow up. Although it was leaking fuel and stopped a few minutes later. He caught up in a SAVAGE and I blew it up with a homing launcher and he left.

Are you saying the Sandking got up Chiliad before your Jeep did? :sly:

No. He was a few minutes away when I was at the bottom (about Sandy Shores area) when I was at the tunnel and by the time I parked up he was ramming me. Musta been fully modded.

On the PS3 I just constantly played GTA5. I don't even know why. I think it was being stupid in the main lobbies and the grind of missions that kept bringing me back. Now on the PS4 I have no reason to play. I beat the storyline again(which was more fun on the 4 than the 3), and now I have nothing to do on online. None of my real life friends play GTA or even the PS4. It just gets boring after awhile. :indiff:

I'm thinking of making a racing series on GTAV PS4. There will be a load of events on custom tracks built BY ME. The races will take place on Sundays at 8PM GMT. PM Me if you are interested. All tracks will be made in the creator an will be 1 make races to keep it fair with no personal vehicles.

Stupid question: what do I need to play GTAV Online? Is it just an XBox Gold subscription? Or do I need to register with the Rockstar Social Club as well?

If it's on XLIVE then just Live Gold. Social Club just gives you a free car (Annis Elegy RH8) and a free gun (Assualt SMG for Story, Sawn Off Shotgun for online).

Just had a Crowning Moment of Awesome online - I had a bounty on my head after stealing another player's car. A bounty hunter came looking for me when I stopped to top up on supplies. But I had previously seen him take another bounty, and I knew he liked to line up a headshot. So I planted a sticky bomb left over from a mission for Lester outside the store, and when he lined up the shot, I blew him up.

He then put a bigger bounty on my head, and I lasted all of five minutes.

Fun new game: Nuzlocke, GTA version. I'm gonna call it the Townlocke challenge after the late (or is he????) Michael Townley.

  1. Make sure you have a second character slot free.
  2. Make sure you only have 10k in the bank (the rest of the money should be on hand on your first character).
  3. Create a new character.
  4. Reach Lv12 and purchase a high end apartment over time.
  5. Complete the Fleeca bank heist as a host and retire from your life of crime rich and happy.
  6. You've won!
There are only four rules.

  • One: No deaths and no failures. You fail if you die at all, whether it be in free-roam or in a mission, even if you respawn. Likewise, if you fail to COMPLETE a mission (note that this means you can still come 2nd or 3rd in races, but you will only fail the challenge if you receive a DNF) you will also fail the challenge, whether it be due to losing all your lives or blowing up something you shouldn't.

  • Two: No cheating death. Passive mode is BANNED. Any lobbies other than Public lobbies are BANNED. You must survive using your own skills and wits. If you steal a car and end up getting a bounty, or you try and grab Simeon's special vehicle, that's your problem. If someone targets you for no reason, then tough luck I guess. (You may still invite friends into missions, but note that it's frowned upon to spend the whole challenge spamming heist setups with your buddies.)

  • Three: No teleporting. Your spawn location must be set to last location at all times. Teleporting after a mission is acceptable, but you are not allowed to abuse this in order to avoid an untimely death (such as whilst a bounty is on your head).

  • Four: Death is final. If you fail the challenge by dying, failing a mission, or otherwise breaking one of the other rules, you must delete your character and start from the beginning. It is also good practice, but not a requirement, to try and spend every last dollar you have earned before deleting your character (clothes are a good way to waste all of your hard earned cash).

After winning, you get to keep all of your hard earned cash, and you can choose whether to continue following Townlocke rules or not. Imagine how many people will respect you when you reveal that you have a Lv50 Townlocke character!

Here are some optional rules that you can choose to follow as well. Some make it easier, and some make it a lot harder:

Medics At Standby: You have a 1 minute window after every successful mission and session change, during which Rules One and Two do not apply. After a minute has passed, you must be alive, in a public session and out of passive mode.
Let Off With A Warning: If you are killed by the police as a result of a 1 or 2 star wanted level, Rule One does not apply. If you die in a 3+ star wanted level, or you die to the military, gangs, or another player whilst in a 1 or 2 star wanted level, you still die.
Wake Up, Neo: You may safely die during any mission aside from contact missions, heist setups, or heist finales (AKA you can participate in Deathmatches, Captures, LTS and Vs Missions)
Trust No-One: You may not participate in any mission with anybody from your crew or your friends list.
Winners Don't Quit: Once you have started any mission, whether it's Golf or a Heist Finale, you may not quit. Purposefully quitting results in a failure.
Bare-Chested Warrior: You cannot wear any garments on your upper body. This includes shirts, jackets, scarves, ties, bulletproof vests, utility vests, or hats/helmets of any kind. Attire during heists and heist setups must be set to player-saved only - if it is not, then you may not participate. For the sake of cool factor, glasses, chains and gloves are allowed. I'm not sure if female characters can even do this one, but the idea is that you can't equip damage-reducing items, so just adjust this one as necessary.
Hyper-Extreme Ultra Mode: If you lose connection, you lose the challenge.

I like this challenge, but I have a question: How do regular clothing items affect damage?

I think I will attempt this, but I wish I could just have a third character slot. Does anyone know why there are five slots, but we can only use two?

They don't, but I thought going all-out and banning all upper-body clothing would be funnier. They're mostly just suggestions for additional rules anyway, you could just choose not to buy any damage-reducing items and wear a full 3-piece suit if you wanted. In terms of the locked character slots, I'm sure R* has a plan for those (Pay $1.99 to unlock a new character slot! Pay $3.99 to unlock 3 new character slots!)

If you do end up attempting it, I expect updates on your escapades :p

Hey, Michael, Trevor and Whateverhisnamewas only took like 100k from the bank in the prologue, and that's about what you get from Fleeca...
$200,000 divided by four people.

Keep in mind that they have done multiple heists in the past and that this was in 2004. You got more for your dollar.

Hush. Anyone who complains has to do the Criminal Masterminds challenge instead of just Fleeca.
