Meanwhile I wasn't able to even touch the PS3 to get my hands on a car to get a rebate.

There shouldn't be any double rebates. If you contacted R* support about not receiving your rebate on the deadline then you will probably get 2 rebates since they don't seem to be caught up with sending out everyone's rebate. I just got mine today without contacting them.

All of them. Hold L1 and press triangle (or Y) while hovering over the gun you want to drop. Unsure what it is for PC

Nope doesn't work. Tried it during a mission as you suggested. They stay gone for the duration of the session and then come back when you start a new session.

Just curious, what is everyone's usual go-to weapon?

Special Carbine or Pump Shotgun, depending on range. Using overpowered weapons isn't fun for me. Hell I use the marksman pistol a lot because it's damn satisfying. Probably the most deliberate sounding muzzle report of any gun in the game; it sounds powerful.

To be honest though, I'm pretty useless against other players in an on-foot firefight. I much prefer using Helos and a little bit of nefarious tactics.

I wish there was a helo with a more realistic 12.7-20mm cannon. Something like the fire rate of the Valkyrie's main gun, but with non-explosive rounds, a LOT of range, and damage somewhere north of the heavy sniper. Basically, I wish there was a helo with a center-mounted Technical/Insurgent gun. 10 solid hits to blow up an average car. Balance out that range by not having rockets. Now that would be a fun helicopter to use. The Savage is devastatingly effective if you are within like 20 meters of your target, but that leaves you pretty damn vulnerable. At the same time, the rounds are almost comically destructive, blowing up cars within a few meters of a single projectile impact. Remember the Sea Sparrow from Vice City? That was a fun little helicopter.

I just don't enjoy missiles. Especially heat seeking ones. Kind of takes the fun and skill out of it.

Also, who else wishes we could get a gun similar to the marksman pistol but in revolver form with 6 shots. They could be cumbersomely-slow six shots, but it would make the gun actually useful for anything other than novelty.

For helicopters, countermeasures are a must. Too many people have access to the Homing Launcher. Sub-level 100's SHOULD NOT be able to own them. For planes, I'd like a WWII-style propeller-driven fighter plane with twin machine guns. The bullets shouldn't be explosive, but they would need to have a lot of range. Even the guns on the fighter jets don't have a long enough range to be honest. If it was possible, I would love it if R* could add an A-10 Warthog to the game. Give it slower maneuverability and explosive bullets, then remove them from the other jets. That way, the A-10 would only be useful for ground attacks only and the others for air-to-air attacks. I just hope R* wouldn't give it afterburners like they did with the Hydra.

Also, a revolver would be awesome.

Yes. I would love a .38/.357 revolver. It would be a perfect addition to the game.

Anyone else wish there was an overhaul of the inventory management system? I've purchased so many weapons to try out, but I don't want them anymore. Unfortunately there is NO WAY TO GET RID OF THEM. I have every pistol, and constantly cycling through them to find the one I want to use is a genuine pain in the ass.

I wish that we couldn't store more than one weapon in each slot. Another thing: We need to be able to select which weapons we can use in cars. I hate cycling through my pistols, grenades, and my SMG when I only want to use one or two while driving.

Hell, I would be happy if we only had one or two primary (RPG and Assault Rifle for example), one secondary (Heavy Pistol), one melee weapon (Knife), and a thrown weapon (Sticky Bombs). Everything else could be stored for you in Ammunation, your apartment's heist room, or your garage.

Just curious, what is everyone's usual go-to weapon?

I quite like the Assault SMG (The SMG which partially looks like an FN P90). I used to use the Assault Shotgun religiously, but not as much since it was nerfed. I would use the Assault Rifle more if it was based on an actual AK-47, not the Norinco Type-56.

After researching it, there seems to have been an actualy change with how the inventory works in the PC version. See more at this thread I finally got sick of it enough to write rockstar and submit a ticket as well. Here is what I wrote them.

I have a suggestion. GTA V & Online have a great variety of weapons (still hoping for a revolver) but I find it very frustrating that to own them all means that you have to "carry" them all, all the time. This makes for a particularly sloppy-feeling gameplay during gun fights; pull up the weapon wheel, highlight the category, and scroll to the weapon I want as gameplay continues to happen around me. Dropping weapons only appears to work temporarily as they return in each new session. The weapon wheel itself and hot keys for categories works fine and I have no problem with that mechanic; it's intuitive and pretty easy to master.

What I would suggest is implementing a weapon load-out feature similar to how the clothing mechanic is structured. That is to say there would be a set number of slots in which to save a custom load-out with a name. So if you are feeling particularly "Dirty Harry" you could equip that saved load-out and maybe it features only a single large caliber pistol. It could even function from the same closet or perhaps a heist room. In this way, you only ever carry what you specifically want to carry and not everything, fumbling for the weapon you want to use.

In addition to producing a more natural and satisfying gun-play experience, I think it would also serve to deepen the connection and immersion that players have with their in-game apartments. The guns become less imaginary and more like concrete objects if you are able to store them or even display them. The result of that could be more time spending using that weapon for the sake of using that weapon, because it feels more special and less disposable in much the same way that trackers and insurance make the player feel like their car is really their car.

I think this is a feature that would be universally appreciated.

I'll keep you guys updated on any response, if they send one.

The only weapons I can't seem to get rid of are the Combat Pistol and the SMG, and I think it's because I keep picking it up from enemies or something. Everything else acts normally for me.

To be fair, an actual AK is pretty much non-existent in western media. They're just reflecting this in game.

Well, with all of the Eastern Europeans criminals in Liberty City, AK-47s seemed pretty easy to come by. I don't believe there are any Russian gangsters in GTA V, so I can see the reasoning for no AK-47s, but it's such a classic weapon and so many games base their AK off the real one.

I want to hear what they have to say. The weapon wheel is great on console, but I like the loadout idea as well.

That's definitely from enemies. I always see the MP5 in my inventory after walking over enemy's bodies in some missions, in particular, survivals.

I found somewhat of a work-around. It's not officially published anywhere, but it worked for me. And it's ridiculous. Load up your online game. Then immediately exit your online game. Make sure you have all or as many of the guns that your online character has in single player. Organize your single players weapon wheel to be how you want it for your multiplayer character. Use your phone to do a quick save. When you load up online, it should remember which guns you placed in each category. In this way, you can at least set a quasi-default weapon for each category.

My go to weapons:
Pistol: Combat or AP Pistol
Shotgun: Heavy or Assault Shotgun
SMG: SMG or Combat PDW
MG: Combat MG
AR: Advanced Rifle or Special Carbine
Sniper: Heavy Sniper or Marksman Rifle
Melee: Bat
Special: RPG or Minigun
Explosive: Sticky Bombs

And I'm just sitting here having not bought anything during rebate season.

What is everyone's rarest vehicle Online? By rare I mean something not ordinarily or no longer obtainable or significantly difficult to obtain.

I think I only have one and I think it was a bug that is now patched. I bought a white Casco a few weeks ago and it was delivered without a roof. Reading about it on various forums it seems this was a short-lived bug that is now patched. Can't say it looks amazing as a vert, but its cool to have it. I'll probably try to get a hardtop version to go with it.

My rarest is the hearse. Not sure how rare it is but I got one back on my Ps3 and it transferred over to my ps4.

Probably my Peyote. I found a gang Peyote, but it had a really neat matte/pearl paint effect, so I decided to keep it rather than sell it.

This is what the 'stock' gang Peyote looks like, so not mine, but I posted it to show off what the paint looks like. I'm sure I took a picture of my own one, but I guess I deleted it for whatever reason.
