I'm really glad I stopped in here and learned that the Hydra was half off. I've been wanting one for ages but haven't had the money, so when I learned that it was half off I logged on, sold my Stirling GT, and bought a Hydra. Sorted.

You literally just missed it. The heist leader gave up and left.

I've done the Humane Labs Raid many times, but I've never been part of the ground crew. I don't even know what goes on down there.
It's smooth sailing with 2 capable people since I completed it with randoms and without any audio. However there was a part in the heist where you and your ground crew teammate have to simultaneously insert some drives/keys into a door lock (uh oh should've used audio :dunce:). I missed it the first time and actually thought we were going to fail, but then luckily got it on the second attempt.

Never been part of the Helicopter crew, it's always been ground crew for me.

I.Hate.It.

Hate it? That's probably one of the funnest experiences in all the heists for me, second only to the "Danger Zone Mission". I'd much rather be running around with night vision on, than sitting in a helicopter just bombarding the ground with explosive rounds, but to each his own.

Plus, that view of the lab during the parachute jump when the EMP goes off is to die for...

...no, literally, if I was running with randoms, I'd kill myself just to do it again.

I was the pilot and it wasn't that bad. It was just extremely nerve-wracking trying to hold the helicopter level so the gunners could destroy the incoming Buzzards, while also trying to avoid the barrage of missiles.

EDIT: I forgot to say that I didn't have a mic for that session.

I've noticed that a lot of heists and setup missions have very vague objectives. There are certain parts of missions/heists that you can bypass completely.

In most Humane Raids I've experienced, I'm most comfortable being pilot. You can take 5 missiles to the face and still fly a perfectly flyable helicopter (with occasional stalls in the engine, though.)

I'm 40k away from my Hydra!

I did manage to get it last night. I decided to do "play a heist" and hope for a humane lab easy one. Ended up going straight into the heist for the fleeca bank. Took 3 tries with a level 13 having never before failed a setup or final heist on fleeca before but I got 57k from it and that game me the funds to buy it and then turn the game off.

Has anyone else had trouble with custom plates? I ordered a custom plate last night, and it still doesn't seem to have appeared in game. The $100k hasn't been deducted from my account either yet. I don't want to place the order again in case I end up losing $200k.

Try buying something cheap for one of your cars, through the app. I had to do that multiple times before they started showing up in LSC.

Will I have to order the plate at the same time or just order something cheap by itself?

Yeah, add the plate too, you should only be charged for it once. For a while there, I had to do that every time I got on GTAO, to get custom plates to show in LSC.

So I figured out an an entertaining new way to grind missions. Playing missions with other people is just about the least fun activity in GTA Online. Every single time at least one person has an armored Karuma and just runs straight into the objective and completes it. Utterly boring. I'm decent, but I wouldn't say I'm skilled enough to consistently complete the missions on hard without an armored car by myself, at least not at a rate useful for making money. So I decided to try something new.

I recently bought the Savage and have unlocked most (maybe all?) of the Merryweather options. So basically what I've been doing is trying to use air tactics and coordination with Merryweather + Lester to complete the missions. A few of them are difficult to complete with a chopper because they require you to NOT destroy a certain vehicle. But missions like "Hit 'em up" or "Cleaning out the cat house" or "Extradition" can be really entertaining. Generally I try to stick to the just the cannon on the Savage to give it a bit more of a challenge. "Death From Above" was particularly fun and challenging because the police just keep coming and you have to exit the helo to photograph the body. I ended up calling in the Merryweather support chopper to fend them off while I went to photograph the body. Then I hopped back in my chopper and called Lester to clear my wanted level. Playing like this is so much more satisfying than Karuma Grinding. Also, I feel like I'm putting my very expensive Savage to work, and it's great. It's a little heavy and slow to maneuver, but damn it packs a punch. Leveling out with the hotel in Sandy Shores and using the rudder control to rotate while simultaneously barraging the second floor with high explosive machine gun fire and watching the kill count repeatedly do +1's in "Hit 'em Up" was pretty awesome. They never saw it coming.

Has anyone had an issue where they've taken a Snapmatic on PS4 and it has not appeared on the Social Club although in game it confirmed as being uploaded? How do you resolve this

I've had almost no time to play with the Marksman pistol, but I'm sure it's now my new anti-scrub gun, with the rocket launchers coming in a close second.

Capture objective, is it possible with two players or must I rassle up a group? And I presume it needs to be Rockstar-created...

I presume a daily objective.

All you need is 1 other player for the other team. I always do that then help the other person win to get it done quicker. They stop shooting you when they realise what you're up to.

I play the airport one (freight something its called) when I have a daily. Set the weapons to pickup only and camp at my base killing the other guy - launch when there are just 2 of you. I always win because I get more kills:lol:
