You know how tempting it is to do a Spongebob related joke right now with this talk of sinking and surviving the bottom of the sea? V to the E to the R-Y! Is mayonnaise an instrument?

But plans for discount?
I'm good with aircraft.
I'm good with cars.
I'm good with boats. (a time to get the Kraken and the Speeder for you lot, I bet).

Well, I'm waiting for the Warstock clearout and get me a Rhino.

I need moar money! Now!

Would like a Savage, a Kraken and a Tank. To my name I have 12k.

Edit: I can't actually see a Savage or a Kraken on the game listing, have they removed them?

I just found over the weekend that you can stay underwater in a car forever without running out of air. I had a bounty and equipped my re-breather, hopped in a random car & drove it off the pier. I figured I would just ride it down to the bottom, and when it landed & stopped sinking my air meter disappeared. It would return if I moved the wheels, but if you just sit there you can stay as long as you want, just don't get out or you can't get back in. I sat out a bounty in the car and a few people swam down & tried to get me. They don't seem to be able to pull you out of the car & stabbing the car didn't affect me inside. Probably well known but it was new to me.

Also, do the baseball bat & crowbar spawn anywhere on the map online? Mine disappeared at some point & I want to get them back. I already got the golf club back, but haven't found the others outside of doing one of the deathmatches or LTS's that have them.
I've had that happen to me a few times. At first I blamed it for my PS4 controller for it being too sensitive with the touch pad and opening the weapon wheel and thinking I've dropped them by accident when trying to enter a car when I had them out. Still don't know if that's the cause or if it's just a bug.

It doesn't pertain to me as I was registered on SC long before I started playing online, but I've still got a bug up my butt wondering if it's possible to play online without being on SC.

Edit: The bug up my butt refers to my curiosity despite it not being of great importance--not an actual bug up my butt that wants to know.

I think you can play without an SC account. You just miss out on some features like access to the Elegy RH8, or being in a crew.

Ah, of course. Double RP and cash weekend would obviously fall on the day I injure my thumb at work and can't use my controller. :grumpy:

That's sort of what I was figuring. Actually, it was a message you sent me that got me wondering.

Savage has rockets in addition to guns, right? Which is it that's only a gunship and what's the point when even a lowly Buzzard has rockets?

The cannons on the Savage can take out tanks and Insurgents. The guns on the Buzzard can't. Plus the Buzzard is limited to 2 rockets and has to reload. The Savage can fire multiple rockets.

Then the Savage has both guns and rockets, which one is it that has only guns? It was before I got my Buzzard and I called up Lester to locate me a chopper.

The main reason I bought the Savage was for missions. It makes trash talk an absolute cake walk, and I also wanted one so I could have a helicopter. Killed two birds with one stone. I hardly ever play in public lobbies, so I could care less about it's PVP capabilities.

EDIT: @TexRex, that would be the Annihilator you're thinking of. 👍

Is this even useful? The only times I've ever used the locate a vehicle function always ended up being an ATV at the horse racing track.
It marks a vehicle with a scripted spawn on the map. You can get them normally, but it will usually guarantee that it'll spawn.

That's the one. Good grief it was useless except for the getaway once I blew up the target vehicle with my Carbine.
The Annihilator will pretty much shred other aircraft to pieces if your aim is good enough, but it's slow and doesn't provide enough protection.

Aside from the ATV at the race track, what are the other vehicles you can find and their locations?

I love the Annihilator, but R* has made it so useless, unless you need to transport six people across the map including yourself. I really wish it was the absolute king of choppers like in GTA TBoGT, but homing missiles have ruined all hopes of that. If it was a viable helicopter, it would need explosive rounds, a higher top speed/maneuverability boost, and countermeasures (Fire off two or three flares) when locked on by a missile.

It just does stuff like the riot vans, limos, bulldozers, etc.

It's pretty decent as long as you don't get locked on. Otherwise, you better hope that it doesn't go down in one hit.

In order to unlock the Grim Reaper Smoking Gun tattoo I need to clear 5 gang attacks in a game day and a single session. Does this refer to the in-game period of 24 hours whose clock can be viewed on the cellphone and in the pause menu, or a real-world period of 24 hours from clearing the first to the last? The latter half of the requirement leads me to believe the latter is the case, does anyone know otherwise? Thanks in advance.

Right now I'm making big $$$ doing races. Everyone is so bad at driving it's super easy. Specially if the class isn't the typical supers-sports.

You have to do it within 48 minutes. Should be easy enough.
Yeah, assuming I can trigger them.

I'm also flabbergasted by the World Record unlocked tattoo--how am I supposed to muster that when every single world record is wildly illegitimate?

Getting the world record tattoo was tons easier during the GTA Online launch week/month. I'm not sure if you can set a WR on a custom made race or if it has to be verified by R*.

You certainly can't if it isn't--been there, done that. I'll have to wait and see if one I've whipped up gets that honor. Of course someone's gonna swoop in and cheat their way before I get a chance anyway.
