I already have friends throwing a fit that the PS3 isn't getting the update. I don't care since I never played with the lowriders much in other GTAs and struggle to fill 3 apartments worth of garages as is.

The Futo is awesome. Nice to drift with and a good sleeper in the Sports class.

With the arrival of a garage focused on lowriders, I'm hoping they bring back wheel-arch angels. I would love to get some proper mods for the stratum and maybe more cars for to modify.

Anyone else thinking about a BF surfer modded at the new garage?

The way the newswire is written, there will be no Wheel Arch Angels and the new shop is named Benny's Original Motor Works. While ambiguous, the newswire implies that only the designated 'lowriders' will be able to be modified as such at the new shop.

They have added a whole new level of customization to one category of cars (lowriders), I think they may do the same for another category. I don't think its outwith the realms of possibility for them to bring out a version of WAA.

"Deck out your engine block with covers and air filters, coat your interiors with velour, leather and patterns, choose custom colors and designs for your dials, or add a new steering wheel and custom shift levers."

"Crew car shows are about to go next level."

I can't imagine that level of customization wont come to other cars in the future, maybe waaay into the future.

They all come with a DS4 charger no?

A cord to plug in the DS4. Mine is a stand alone Move charger with adapters that can charge 2 DS4 controllers simultaneously.

I wonder if these modifications and any additional cars this DLC introduces are Online-only, like with Heists' vehicles. :indiff:

Well, the last 2 updates included SP. Not sure how this Low Rider update can include SP though.

Broughy has uploaded top speed videos for Super and Sports categories, some really interesting results - the futo in particular being faster than expected
The Futo pretty much surprised.

The little car that could.. beat an Elegy on a long straight.
Being an owner of one since Day 1, this isn't news to me. It'll surprise you sometimes. :P

I was half expecting somewhere starting around $300k for the stuff. I guess we will find out for sure when either Rockstar or players who get the update reveal the prices.

So I'm guessing there's going to be a clean version of the Voodoo that'll cost you your left arm and right testicle. No restoration option...
I doubt there will be a single vehicle in this update that will cost under 50k. I don't see why R* need to make an entirely new vehicle in order to customize them more. Maybe the models for the new cars will need to be more detailed for engine and interior tuning.

Very likely. Unless a Fast n' Loud- style update comes allowing restoration and resto-modding.

It's all about those dolla-dolla bills. They need to sell their Shark Cards somehow.

Rockstar should make a southerner update with really fast tractors, tractor races, lifted wheels, ability to increase size of wheels and tires, widen wheels, add extra seats to back, etc. Also duel wielding sawed off shotguns and those exhausts in the truck of the bed that shoot out a lot of smoke.

I would say engine swapping, but that would be OP unless the prices are right depending on what car it comes from. Like for the Progen it should be $500,000.

Pretty much. If we had to buy the clean Rat-Loader *aka the Rat Truck* as a separate vehicle then this will definitely happen. The same also happened to the rebel and every single car in the game that has a clean counterpart but the sad part about the Rebel's clean variation is it lacked customization compare to it's dirty counterpart. The Rat Truck sort of went this way but it only lacked the truck bed customization from it's dirty counterpart.

Although I'm pretty sure the clean voodoo isn't going to end up like the other clean variations of other cars since this is a lowrider update.
