Is this it? Just more Benny cars? I'm thoroughly disappointed. Six weeks of 2x bonuses raised my expectations too high I guess.

Not to mention that the Donk Faction will be every squeaker's new toy...
 
I truly hate donks, but I like the Slamvan. The looks of it, not the handling. But i would have liked the Sabre and Rat-Loader too though.

There's now rumours spreading around about the possibility of GTA Online getting cross platform play. I pray to god that these rumours are false like seriously, if Rockstar does this, this means that everyone across the 3 8th gen versions of GTA Online *PS4, Xbox One and PC* would have to put up with the hackers that are on PC. And trust me, the hacker / modder situation that is on PC is extremely not pretty.

*EDIT* Its only the PS4 and Xbox One versions that is getting Cross Platform Play. :dopey: Didn't really dig into this rumor so I guess we could now hope this actually happens?

It will only have the PS4 and XB1 for Cross Platform Play.
 
That, and let alone how glitchy the Self Radio is..

And how Mouse & Keyboard is a lot better than controller, and you would see it especially in the impromptu deathmatches on the wild wild streets.

Street Fighter V and Rocket League are the two games I know of that supports Cross Platform Play. Although the Xbox One version of Rocket League is lacking CPP, Microsoft is currently trying to get it to support the other ports.

I haven't really tested it out myself but i'm pretty sure if that player is from another platform, the ability to view their profile, including the option to send them a friend request would be disabled for the platform you're playing on.
 
I didn't realise cross platform existed this gen. Hmm. So if I had friends on X1 I couldn't set up a party chat with them - it would need to be in-game? It sounds limited tbh.

Anyway, this patch is almost a Gb. I would guess there will be more leaks soon as it probably contains more than the 3 things released today.
 
Well, I'll be online in a bit (PC) after 3 weeks of no GTA Online.

Will not be expecting hackers, but I have just the mentality for so.

EDIT: Some patch notes that may pique your interest..

Ghosted to Player is a new option on the Wasted screen that appears under the following criteria:

  • Player X kills you 3 times within 5 minutes.
  • You have not damaged Player X during those 3 kills.
This option can be found alongside the Respawn, Passive and One on One Deathmatch options and is triggered via R1/RB and displays as “Go Ghosted to Player X”. Once this option has been selected, you and Player X will be ghosted to each other and each other only for two minutes.

So, to whoever that hates to fight, here's something for ya. Just don't shoot back, and give up (like I would, but hey: I do feel rather passive sometimes).

The fix list is really extensive, but here's the only 1 i notice that affected me.

Fixed an issue where players’ BMXs were changing color to black after logging out and back into Online.

I stole a red BMX once, and it turned black. Am slightly pleased. But if only it was sooner..

2 new guns, Compact rifle and double barrel shotgun. Rifle cannot be fired from a car.

Also: New Bennys Bespoke wheels. A selection of new gold and chromme wheels - including GOLD DOLLAH SIGN RIMS Y'ALL. I have a custom Faction and cannot Donk it.

Well you're playing with people who are not on the same platform as you so for it being limited is no big deal.

I still think it's a good idea for Rockstar to do this but if PC is supported for cross platform play then I'm probably done with GTA Online.

It says that "More Lowriders coming soon" So don't rule out that Sabre GT and Rat Loader yet; they might be in the game files.

As for me: I'm buying the Virgo straight up, because Little Jacob.

More Lowriders? Meh. I'm kinda interested in the Rat Loader because I've seen a real life picture of what the Rat Loader may look like after it was modified at Benny's and it looked like an absolute badass.

I will assume we will get two versions of the Custom Rat Loader based on the Loader and Truck versions. Like the Rat Loader custom would be a Rat Rod and the Rat Truck custom would simply be a cleaned Rat Loader custom with the same customization options as the Rat Loader custom version.

Yeah the game files show that there's a major increase in traction. Even without the spoiler.
 
I bought both of the Roosevelt versions when they came up a few months ago. Am I correct in understanding that if I sell one I will be able to re-buy it later since I originally purchased it within the time it was available? Just looking to confirm before I potentially make room for the new Slamvan custom

I'm sure the new patch might've done something, but I have experience of someone listening to a radio station while I have Self on.

Sometimes it's perfectly playing Los Santos Rock, but sometimes it might just be static sounds that you hear when swapping stations. It's an endless loop, and it hurts my ears.
