Here's a friendly GTAO tip: When swapping characters online, do not rush. If your fat thumb accidentally bumps the [square] button on its way to the [X] button, you will instantly loose your character, all of his hard earned rank, all ten of his fully tuned vehicles, his $400k apartment, and whatever cash he has. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

I can relate.

In other news, it's been nearly a week and no word from R* support about my online issues...
 
I was in an online race a few weeks ago and someone was driving backwards....


...in a Cheetah.

Normally I would be annoyed by this, but watching cars crash into it was pretty funny.

I can think of some really creative and helpful uses for the Cheetah's ramp-like nose, like getting over police barricades and launching over low bridges.

I wish GT6 had hitboxes like GTA does. That means, you can ramp over cars with low, flat, angular front ends like the Cheetah. Example: A fully lowered Lamboghini Countach spins out and causes a pileup while other cars drive off into the dirt. You drive head on at the Countach and fly off it, landing ahead of the pileup and gaining several spaces.
 
How to go to North Yankton in GTA: Online as of 1.09
  1. Go to single player and Load up the mission Bury the Hatchet (PAUSE MENU > GAME > REPLAY MISSION > Bury The Hatchet)

  2. Once you're in the mission go to the airport and you should get a cut scene, once you have completed the cut scene and you're in North Yankton ask a friend to invite you to a INVITE ONLY SESSION.

  3. Accept that invite

  4. Go to the bottom right hand corner of los santos (by the docks) and you should be able to see North Yankton
With this glitch only YOU will be able to see North Yankton, if you friend does the glitch as well and you invite them you both should be able to see it!
 
Golf has quickly become my favourite thing to play with friends Online. It's very relaxing and you get a lot of XP from it. What is everyones best scores so far? My best score is -4 at the moment. My friend has done -9 and is going for -10 as he has figured out how to Eagle Hole 8.

I also like golf a lot and was so happy when I found out that Rockstar allowed 4 player golf online. I think my highest score was -6 or -7.

I still wish we could hunt online. Would be so much fun like in the campaign.
 
I get bored in the second hole. :lol: I prefer playing tennis, it's funny how you can easily win a game by getting aces over and over. :lol:

That mission is fun IF you have a good team. Otherwise the 2nd half of that mission is very difficult to complete before the timer runs out. I still cant stand timed missions. Luckily there are not very many in the online co-op.

No team needed, you can do that easily solo with buzzard :)
 
It's annoying if you don't have a Buzzard. I don't even think it's possible to complete the mission alone without it.

Really? Is there a video anywhere because that seems like it would be very tough since the 2nd half of the mission is timed. What do you get maybe 2 minutes to kill 8 enemies spread out across the map? If someone can do it solo, that's impressive. Video or it didn't happen. haha
