I've heard that the Mini-gun works better, but I haven't yet had the chance to test that.

You're better off with a jet.

Fly straight up, out of their field of view, then fly straight down towards them. Keep your nose pointed at the tank, and FIRE!

Don't forget to pull up if you aren't trying to kamikaze them.

I've never seen the AI drive the Asea, neither offline nor online. Is that "fixed" now? :dopey:

No. It only appears in Singleplayer once you complete "What Lies Beneath."

Kill the woman or scare her away before she gets to her car to be able to retrieve it. I hear that you can also bring a Tow Truck (There will be a bunch since you are right near Paleto Bay) and tow it to your safehouse before you approach her. Save the game and the car will be unlocked.

Online, you have two ways of saving it. One way is to choose it in the introductory race, then win it. Later, you can place a tracker on the car to make it your personal vehicle. The second (and safer) method is to just buy it from the Southern San Andreas Super Autos page on the in-game internet. If my memory serves correctly, it costs around $15,000.

The Premier is also rare. In single player, you only get it when Michael's son takes his Tailgater. In online, you were never able to get one until the Business Update.

The Premier can actually spawn in traffic though, both online and offline. Before you could purchase it, I'd say the Asea was the rarest car in the game- You had 1 opportunity to get it in SP, and that was a side mission many would have skipped, and your only other opportunity would be if you chose it during the first race, and even then it could get destroyed/lost quite easily until you get to insure it, and then be replaced by something better.

The Tailgater is also damn near impossible to find unless Simeon wants it, but he won't send me a text message.

I wonder what the actual most rare car is. I'm thinking it's the Space Docker, but I don't know for sure.

They're one of the rarer cars but they do definitely spawn (in large numbers) in free session traffic from time to time. I've seen them spawn particularly around the eastern LSC but there's no way to get them to start spawning to my knowledge.

In terms of the rarest car in the game, I'd argue that the absolute rarest car in the entire game is the Declasse Voodoo - no fixed spawn locations, no mission spawns (that's how you can get some of the sports cars in SP), no way of buying it online, one relatively small area where they spawn at all and about 20 far more common cars that are more likely to spawn in the same area.

The Voodoo is definitely one of the rarest. I can never find one, and it's been on my want list for many months now.

This is something that has bothered me a tiny bit, but after watching the Voodoo video, it's annoying me more. The mechanics of Los Santos can fix almost any problem with a car. Except rust. I don't have anything against the rusted cars, they add to the depth of the desert areas. But if I take one to LSC, at least give me the option of fixing the bodywork or add it as part of respraying the car. It's a bit odd to have the freshly painted car roll out of the garage with scratches and rust spots.

According to the loading screens, LSC uses only the finest spray paint and plastic body kits.

Well, I'm now the owner of three Gulf-themed vehicles.

My first was a BF Bifta. The next was a Bati 801 that I felt like respraying today. Then, I resprayed my Bullet GT after I was done with the bike.
