I think I found a way to removed extended clips from guns. I'm not sure if it's permanent though, so I'll still have to test out a few things.

You've always been able to remove attachments from guns...

You can't remove the extended clip. It equips itself automatically when you join a new session.

If you have an extended clip on a pistol or the assault rifle, you have to deal with the stupid looking thing forever. I'm trying to see I could remove it permanently.

- Start a mission involving the Lost MC.
- Steal a Daemon.
- Drive like hell.
- Fly it to your garage with the Cargobob because you're lazy and don't feel like driving the whole way.

You can store it any vehicle as long as it isn't directly involved in the mission (needs to be stolen/delivered/destroyed/etc.)
