'We have had reports that all cars no longer accelerate, or brake, or turn on, or anything. We did this for the lols and we're hoping to put it back to normal soon, but our new recruit 'Kaz' seems to take his time doing things, so... yeah... sorry guys.'
 
"In response to concerned ultra-fundamentalists (who don't even have children) claiming that in-game actions can ruin the minds of young people playing our game, we have decided to make some major changes. All guns accessible to the player have been replaced with water guns. The police AI has been updated: When a player is in the vicinity of a police officer and is driving just 1 MPH over the speed limit, an automatic five-star pursuit is activated, just like in NFS Carbon. Players can no longer drink in their apartments; wine has been moved to churches. Players can no longer survive high, or even low-speed crashes; they will instantly be killed if their vehicle receives any damage, no matter the severity. If a player dies, their save file and/or character will be permanently deleted. If you think this is an inconvenience, you're going to hell."

*Engine starts working*
(You could actually do this in GTA IV, by the way. If you damage your engine to the point it doesn't start, get out and kick it a few times. Should work)

Has anyone tried role-playing as a cop online? It can be pretty interesting and/or fun and you can easily replicate a Sheriff uniform. The only problem is obtaining a police cruiser without damaging it is probably the hardest task in GTA.

I just made an interesting discovery. Go to the police station during Rooftop Rumble and take a look in the parking lot.

LSPD Staniers. Unlocked and everything. There's even a chance of getting a slicktop if you're lucky. :D
 
If you're worried about damage just call up Lester and tell his police buddies to turn a blind eye for a while

Were you in an open session, and did anybody engage you? It always seems like people try to shoot me down with their machine guns whenever I fly the Titan. Not miniguns or heavy snipers, but AK-47's or SMGs.

It's a fairly strong plane. It isn't like the Jets in singleplayer that are made of styrofoam and held together with rubber bands.

I flew at a decently high altitude, so no shooting at me. I'm pretty sure if I flew lower I would've been shot at.
 
I have a Western Bagger right now and I feel like giving it away. Anybody want it?

EDIT: Lost it due to my game freezing, sorry to anybody that may have needed one

I just read something interesting. Apparently, 1.13 made some of the body values for certain cars start acting weird. This is why police cars are randomly spawning without lights and probably why I can't get a damn single headlight PCJ 600.

The cop thing is pretty cool, but the motorcycle thing is annoying.

I saw a single headlight PCJ on Monday but you weren't online.
 
I know. The update is just causing some weird things with certain cars. I've noticed the hardtop Manana being very common recently.
