I'm curious as to where the meteors come from, I mean, we know the UFO's can spawn naturally in-game, but where do the meteors crop up? Are they a leftover from something that was cut, and are just lying around in the files, or are they used in an in-game film/advert/TV Show somewhere?

Apparently you can't sell cars you keep from missions , I had an undamaged Ocelot F620 to sell from Rooftop Rumble (Would have made an extra 8000 to go with the 18750)

So goes the Merryweather Mesa from missions. I wonder if it's possible to SP to MP to save in your garage?

You can't sell the Merryweather Mesa regardless of where you got it.

I just shelled out 20,000 because two low level schmucks with tanks and no cash blew up my Zentorno twice. Once while I was driving, and then again when I called Mors they blew it up in the parking lot.
