Painted my Dubsta Pure Gold, and got myself a new outfit as I was getting kinda tired of Pee Wee

Will post pics soon

Went back on the Coveted playlist and it's changed now. :grumpy: Anyone grinding RR right now?

How well does the 6x6 Dubsta work offroad? Is it a true 6x6 vehicle? Did they re-fix the sandking so it is a true 4x4 again?

The 6x6 Dubsta is great offroad, but it's not COMPLETELY 6x6 - the front wheels do spin but not if you do the wall test, so I'm guessing they just have less torque than the other 4.

To your other question, they mentioned something along the lines of fixing a bug where some 4x4 vehicles didn't work properly, so I presume that was about the Sandking (and possibly about the Mesa as well but I didn't test it)

Did Rooftop Rumble get harder?

I mean after we clean the parking lot, during The Professionals' last attack to destroy the evidence, 2 more trucks come in and just get us to kill more men.

Just one guy enters the parking lot....

SADFACE.

So, I fully tuned a Panto in singleplayer.

Great news. Some torque is better than none. Looking forward to checking that 6x6 vehicle out. Slowly getting closer and closer to having a monster truck like SA.

Patch notes say the Sandking is again 4x4.. Haven't tested new Dubsta.
Also great news about the Sandking.

The Dubsta is bloody awesome, I'd say it's better off-road than the Sandking, and pretty good on the road if you find a nice straight road, although it does like to slide a bit.

I definitely don't regret buying it, shame I had to let go of my Baller, but then I've got my Huntley for a quick soft-roader...

The Panto is absolutely incredible. Two of my friends and I each bought a Panto and had a ton of adventures including hitting them with trains as much as possible, putting them on Titans so that they fall from a considerable height, chasing and hassling one of the friends in a Baller, driving up Mt Chiliad, driving OFF Mt Chiliad and generally hooning them about... not only are they ridiculously fun to drive, but they're ludicrously tough. Seriously! After all that, with no repaits, there was not even a TRACE of damage outside of cosmetic damage. No chassis deformation, no broken engines, nothing. It took us TWO train collisions against a 6x6 Dubsta with 100% armor to destroy one.

For some reason the GTA wiki says 'Its durability is unremarkable, as it can only take a few head-on crashes before its axle breaks and its engine ceases'. I can only presume they were testing this offline because online I crashed head-on into a train at least 5 times and nothing happened.

I have the Panto on my 2nd character and it's just a little beast. :dopey: I think it's rear drive too for extra dartyness. I'm going to build a new rice rocket when I level up for most of the mods.

Now I miss my Benefactor collection since I can now have a full 10 car garage of different models!!
Dubstas 1 & 2
Dubsta 6x6
Serrano
Surano
Shafter
Shwartzer
Glendale
Feltzer
Panto
And have the stretch on standby!

That assumes you already have the Dubsta 2. They patched the SP-MP glitch so while we get 3 new Benefactors, we lose the ability to obtain one of them.

Sounds awesome! I read that on the Wiki, too. I thought that can't be right, especially the part about the speed. That car is ludicrously fast.

WHo's grinding?

I see what you did there.

I suspect it isn't actually that fast - it only just outspeeds the Dubsta 6x6. It feels a lot faster than it actually is because of it's size.

True. I also read someone's post about the Blade being fast (Which it is when fully tuned). I think they also said it could probably beat an Adder on a straightaway. It certainly feels fast, but when I tried it, I thought it was hitting the rev limiter at top speed.

Only one way to settle this..drag race at the airport!!!

Wings add traction to the car specs in this update

Also, I've got a Blade, a Dubsta 6x6 and a Pento so if we do do a drag race, then let me know.

Except I don't have any of those cars online and can't get all of the upgrades because I'm at level 71 and trying to save up for a Rhino... then a second apartment and some supercars.

Sheesh. $85 grand for a SmartCar. I guess it is to prevent people from SP2MP'ing the new cars.

Really? What does a roof rack loaded with crap do then?
I wonder how much grip spoilers add. I haven't bothered checking for that.

Spoilers actually did add traction but it was added in hidden stats in the game files. At least I think it did. I'm not so sure.
