I fought off 4 guys in Buzzards/Lazers in a Ocelot Jackel I got off the street which was wanted by Simeon

Up to 2/6 of the hats with no shirt yet, I've got until 7 o clock tomorrow night to get the rest
 
NOOOOO! They patched the custom crew smoke I had on some of my cars :grumpy:

Try this to get the hats
Starting on the character you don't want the hat for, go back to story mode (Leave GTA Online) and quit the game.

Kick the disc out and go to your Game Data Utility Folder. For GTAV, you'll have 2 items... Delete the one that DOES NOT have "Install" in the title. If you hit triangle for information, the one you're looking for will actually say "Version 1.15". Delete it.

Shut down the PS3. Once powered down (Red light) turn back on.

Sign back into your account and put the disc back in. It'll ask to update, select OK (hit X). It'll take a bit to download and install. Just let it do it's thing.

Once done downloading and installing, the game should start back up. Let it go into story mode.

Once story mode is loaded, go online, picking an invite only session. You'll go online with the character that you don't want the hat for.

Once online, simply pick "Switch Character." Once the switch is made, go to your special hats and you should have a new hat, with a star beside the name.

Sorry to cut out like that guys. Power went out so I decided to call it a night since it is 3 in the morning already. Don't want a repeat of last night where I went to bed at 8 in the morning :lol:

There really should be a Red Bull. And a Monster.

If they did that, @Katiegan and I would have no choice but to drink nothing but our respective energy drinks. :)

There is an energy drink in GTA called Junk, I'd say it's based off Monster as people say that's the strongest one and has, well, the most junk in it, although GTA Wiki says it's a parody of both Monster and Red Bull. It'd be cool if we could drink it in game and it made our characters behave differently like alcohol does. :D

Finally put in a solid couple hours last night with the new option they added on the phone that lets you join into games that are ready to launch. For those that don't know its a new option at the bottom of your phone under quick menu or quick play. Any playlist that someone random created and is almost full, you can instantly join it. Ended up with a good group of randoms playing a variety of games ranging from monster truck races to bike races to parachuting. The monster truck race Rockstar created by the swamp reminded me quite a bit of the race I created.

Or you can set it up as a queue while you cruise around in free mode. When the queue is full it pulls you into the game.


Overall great fun again last night and I earned about $140,000 in a couple hours. I still need about 500,000 and I can get the monster truck. :)
 
I'm up to about $290k now, I should be over $400k by tomorrow night's end, my plan is to have the monster truck before the end of the weekend.

I am hoping to do the same especially since this is a holiday weekend. However, I have a lot going on so I am not sure how much game time I can get in. I also want the 6x6 vehicle. I really like that new instant join feature or queue feature. Very nice.

The Junk website also has a map with all the stunt jumps, knife flights and parachute events. :D
 
Not that I can afford any qualifying vehicles after buying the Liberator, but I'm curious: Is there a limit to how many vehicles Pegasus can store for you, or can you buy them all?
 
Tried to do the hat glitch that @Jahgee1124 mentioned. First time the router cut out while updating. Second time the PS3 refused to sign in after restarting. -_-

Whenever there was hacked money, I bought everything. So I would that you can.
 
Well, after many hours of camping with a Buzzard in Auto-Aim lobbies I finally got another special crate, not the t-shirt I was hoping for but another beer hat. I think that's enough crate hunting for me, not gonna be greedy.
