GTA Online Thread (Useful Links in OP)

If I had a capture card, I would so remake this with a couple of friends:

Profanity warning:


For the part with the lights coming on, I guess we could have a couple of people on scooters facing a wall and turning their headlights on in sequence. It would be easiest to do this in one of the areas where it is wide open, not in a tube-shaped area.
For Liam's crazy behavior, we could have the person who is playing him be heavily drunk and performing some of the player actions. Thankfully, because of the latest update, we can dress him in an American flag T-shirt. The hair might be a little tricky, though.

The part where people are scraping the rails with a grinder we could replace with someone pouring gasoline (Hah, firestarter). The scenes where the camera is being panned backwards can be done using a vehicle with a very low hood or on a motorcycle/scooter with a camera man facing backwards.

If we had the people and a person to record, we could DEFINITELY pull this off. If it's good enough, Rockstar might notice and give out crew some nice publicity. Unfortunately, it might bring a lot of idiots to this site, though.

If we have enough people to help out, I'll start a conversation here. I would like to remake this shot-for-shot, minus the parts with Liam being suspended from cables.

Hmm, the Firestarter remake will be a bit ambitious. I lost track after 130 jump cuts. o_O
Some of them are just samples from previous shots, so it won't be too bad.

If it makes you feel better, I only got a minigun with 200 rounds, some money and RP... Still no beer hat :(

Sounds good! Although, not to be 'that guy', but I think you mean Keith, not Liam. Liam's the one in the striped sweater. :p

🤬 I always get band members' names confused. I can only get Queen members right.
 
Can the BF Surfer fit four people? I remember it could only fit two, but on the SSASA website, it says it can fit four.

I might be able to get my PS3 copy in the next week. I'm so excited. Playing with crew mates that know how to play. I got a taste of what it's like racing @F40LM and getting my butt handed to me. But it was more fun racing anybody else.

I try not to stay to far ahead hah, I just need to get a 1TB HDD fitted to my PS3 and I will be starting GTA on PS3 then, old PS3 burnt out.

My PS3 is in its 7th year running. Never had to be fixed, no ylod. The 'ole October 2007 edition black.
 
Even though I'm on my 2nd PS3 which I got just over 4 years ago after my first getting the YLOD after 2 years and a few weeks, was PS3 less for around 6 weeks. I still have my original controller which is still working even though the left analogue sticks slightly and the R2 is a bit wobbly when not in use.

Getting back to the game I haven't actually been on during this double xp weekend, so does anyone know when it finishes, I think it's 12AM EST which is 5AM UK time.
