I must have missed something about Georgia also being in GTA 6. I just had a quick browse about the release date and read this.

Not sure Georgia will feature in it and if it does it may just be a GTA IV-style North Yankton/Ludendorff cut-scene location. The article is just about locations used for sound recordings and the Georgia location mentioned may have just been more suitable for the sounds they were after then anywhere in Florida.
 
It's been widely speculated Mount Kalaga is the Georgia portion of the map, since it's specifically listed as being at the northern border of Leonida. Folks have noted the screenshot of the canyon location looks heavily based on Providence Canyon State Park environment & the Suwannee River.

They’ve always done this. To be expected i’d say. Personally I’m not to bothered about special editions, however I did by one of the GT7 special editions - can’t remember which

Lot of talk this last week or so about the game launching at $80 or more, and then there'll be even more expensive special editions with paid early access. No smoke without fire and all that.

Will not be paying that …unless mind blowing reviews come out and FoMO gets to me I’m going to wait till it drops to 50 and all launch bugs are worked out
 
There will be a special edition, but I would not bet on early access; that’s not Rockstar’s usual strategy compared to 2K & others.

With the current economy woes, also comes across very tone deaf to declare all games should up their price now. There’s been a fine line of hyped titles either doing well or flopping hard in the past year or so whilst cheaper, smaller games seem to be finding homes on Steam libraries just fine as cheaper alternatives.
 
It's no secret how much GTA V has made them since release (upwards of $10billion). And given that it made back probably half of its development costs with 3 days of release, it will be hard for them to justify GTA VI releasing at a price substantially over other AAA games.

The name. It sells itself, unfortunately. If Old Trafford was boycotted by 70,000 fans, there'd still be another 70,000 Man United fans filling it regardless. People will pay for GTA VI and Rockstar know they can get away with it.

Voting with your wallet... easy for one person to do, difficult to make it a movement.

That's true, but if it doesn't sell as much as it's predecessor did in the first week, the headlines will show it to be a failure. GTA's reach is beyond the gaming press now, i'm not sure they'd want that kind of publicity at launch, whether it makes much difference in the long run or not.
 
Watching TBOGT play through. I really hope GTA6 combine San Andreas large scale play with TBOGT fun in the city and interaction with locals. So much to do and goings on in both those games.

Loved that DLC, such an improvement compared to the other GTA4 DLC. Made Liberty City in GTA 4 a much more fun place to play in.

They do, but they also know they can make way more money by releasing the game at a "standard" $70 instead of $80 & let GTA+ print the difference in the first month & then some. Voice likes BoA get ignored & some good PR is bought by not asking the fans to open their wallets more up front.
 
Just from the trailer alone it’d be worth whatever the price on debut. Looks like the game is going to be on such a large scale and with so much more density than previous games. Plus, so different with a love story from the start rather than a lone character trying to make ends meet.

That’s a reason why I like San Andreas with Carl and TBOGT with Luis making time for “love interests”(I know I know booty call icons notwithstanding). How they’ll” use the switching characters throughout will be interesting. Are we just going to use the two main characters or will R* be clever and we’ll be able to branch off with a plethora of character arcs?

Apparently, someone from Insider Gaming confirmed the Best Buy e-mail sent out to affiliates about pre-orders going live Monday is real. Yeah, I think a trailer is definitely possible to debut ending with the anticipated "Pre-Order Now".
 
theres a youtube channel called GTA Mania and they posted a video earlier today saying that a bunch of mini games may be coming back. Favorites such as tennis, miniature golf ( and possibly regular golf ) basketball and maybe even pool may be in the game.

- you will no longer be a "walking armory" with the ability to carry multiple weapons like flame throwers, RPGs, or Rail guns. you will be limited to basically two pistols and two rifles, with your other weapons stored in your vehicles trunk. Also you will have the ability to carry a duffel bag or backpack with additional items but unfortunately it appears that we will no longer be able to walk around with ten types of shotguns ( aww.. )

- some weapons will be "shared" between Jason and Lucia. during heists you will have your own weapons or you can share. apparently for example if Lucia has a pistol, then Jason will have a rifle and you can interchange items with this new duffel bag feature in addition to your own personal load out

- the duffel bag and backpack will have extra slots for other items like body armor, med kits or painkillers. There is also a possibility of players being able to use the D pad DIRECTLY to put on body armor or use med kits instead of searching for them which is awesome.


There's no official date for the release of the third trailer but GTA Mania says it may be as soon as July.
 
I’ve actually been playing GTA V again. That’s awesome to have limited weapons. I wonder if that means being more cautious with interactions with other avatars. Since there will be gangs of people and cops and even in low populated areas with more wildlife. Would make players think more before trying to unalive everything in sight.

This has been speculation for months since the original leaks, RDR2 system, & the creation of the official page where they close the trunk.

I would refrain from sharing information from a YouTube page that clearly uses AI to support "info" that's based on nothing but assumptions that have been long presumed by others. Them speculating we'll have basketball, tennis, golf, & pool comes from simply just seeing such things present in screenshots & videos. You could come to the conclusion yourself without needing a YouTube video made for no reason than to monetize such a common thought.

The fact that channel can crank out a "new info" every other day is a sign to ignore it altogether, personally. Just a channel desperate for views.

I can tell you with certainty, based on Rockstar's MO, there are not going to be multiple bundles. They put out your standard edition & then a Collector's Edition. IV, V, & Red Dead 2 all did this small combination.
