Yeah we'll see about that. Can't trust Rockstar with GTA release dates anymore even with promotion starting
They’re going to begin ramping up their marketing after this month. Sony/Microsoft have updated their pages as well.

Take2 has made it clear they know the game needs to get out & they would start a major marketing campaign as soon as they know they can make it.

Okay, this cover will be analysed, more than the trailers, until November.

I can just hear and see content creators talking about the wildlife, new places to place tattoos, wearing jewelry, vehicles we can use, new missions, the amount of players we can switch to in real time, interactions with all avatars we come across.

Should be a wild game.

Maybe we get scored for doing tricks on bikes. With more avatars on screen seems ripe for more street crimes. Not just purse snatching, bicycle and car jacking. Probably stick up kids and more violent crime.

I'm thinking more access to interior spaces. Homes, office buildings, malls, etc. More than just small shops and fuel stations.

It's already begun

I think this is the first time a trailer is used as a cover art reveal lol
It's a pretty mild way of doing it compared to previous GTA games, where it was revealed slowly by it being painted on the side of a building.

I reckon the story is going to feel Michael Mann scripted. So many nods to Miami Vice and Heat.
That could be an interesting approach to it. The belief for a while is that it'll be a Bonnie & Clyde-type story as well, with some speculation the ending could be varying one like GTA V's (despite C being canon). But, personally, I don't think Rockstar will go that route since it's been reported that Rockstar recognized V was a lighter tone in its story & VI is believed to be more serious/darker. I think they'll be looking to recapture what makes RDR2 so beloved.

Zelnick has said VI will be a very different marketing approach for them in terms that we won't be seeing a lot of build-up advertisement for the game like V, that everything will be "condensed" into the months leading up to November instead.

I’m fine with what I’ve seen. The map is my main focus. As long as I can drive distances way longer than it takes to get from Los Santos International Airport to the top of Mount Chiliad, I’ll be smiling.

I hope that it will make aircraft useful with more airports/landing strips. In GTA V, it felt really limited where you could fly to, and planes seemed kind of useless besides entertainment and combat. My dream for GTA VI is that planes and cars can have higher top speeds close to real life as a result of map size and hardware updates. The low speed limits in GTA V were always disappointing.

Yes. Definitely more larger airports.

Something else are the special abilities of the main characters. Wielding dual pistols(maybe picking off multiple adversaries at one time) and military training. Interested in how those come in handy.

So, obviously pure speculation, but there's been a pretty common assumption that Jason's military background will allow a weapon ability & Lucia's background/media/necklace describing her as a physical fighter from birth will allow her some sort of close quarters combat.
Think Stephen Colbert GIF by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert

True, now that I go back to the trailers. The MMA(I guess) cage fighting stuff will help. Seems like with so many baddies around, there are going to be some interesting takedowns in missions and everyday life. Not just punch punch dodge kick run away moves. So doesn’t seem farfretched with some of the brief action shots we see.
