GTAVC graphics, trails, or no trails?

when it comes to the graphics, without the trails looks more sharp, however i still prefere the trails in the game, makes it look more, "actiony"

whta do you guys think?

Oh god, with trails I can hardly stand to play it.

I use trails.
I like to see the water droplets when it rains or when I go on a boat. Not to mention the blood droplets splattering all over the screen when you chop someone up with the chainsaw, gotta have that. :cool:

Another thing about trails is I think it gives the city the essensce of the actual "Vice City" (Miami) I think it makes it look more real.
Without trails it almost looks too good.
But this is just me.

trails are located under the options or somewhere, in grand theft auto vice city, you can either turn them on or off, and you can see the big difference, and what the trails do,

It must be only in the PS2 version, I have the PC version and I don't see anything in any of the menus for that

I think the PC version gives you no choice you're without 'trails' all the time.
I believe they're called that since it's sorta like the trails you can put on your mouse, in the settings in your control panel. The image needs to be blurred a little to obtain the effect.
I've been trying to switch to "no trails" but I'm so used to them I'm having a hard time changing.

You can see the blood splatter and the watter droplets without trails as well.

Sleek, If you wanna see blood splatter, kill someone with a chain saw, then hit the "o" button again Tommy will point the chainsaw down and dig into the helpless citizen.

Kinda looks like a slasher flick.

sleek do u have it for PC? if so that's why. I have the PS2 version, and it deffinitely has the blood and water with out trails

Yeah, I knew about that. Though I prefer to just knock the person down then slash downwards as they try to get up.

I do have the PS2 version, I'll have to check.

the PC and Ps2 are one in the same.

As for Xbox, the graphics are touched up a bit but pretty much the same.
