I thought I had 3rd wrapped up but I got a rather hard bump in the third from last turn of the last lap and spun out, had to settle for 4th. I enjoyed that track much more, I actually had a chance of chasing down 1st for awhile, but I got a little to intimate with a kern and went for a spin.

Had a fun race, looking forward to the next one!

(I got disconnected before I was able to collect my winnings/XP. :grumpy: )

Makes me wonder if Senninha does karting in real-life as well. Randy and I practiced with him last night and he was about a second and a half ahead of us!:eek:

Enjoyed the battle on my part but sorta bummed I was unable to stay in it due to a mistake in Turn 1 on Lap 15 on my part. I also probably ran on a shorter gear in the race than the others, hence why I couldn't quite get away.

I race rotax karts in real life and I'm not as fast as him ingame so I don't think thats the only reason.

I feel the karts in gt5 are to hard to catch their slides compared to their real life counterparts, here is me driving on a slipery track and watch how you can drift really easily without it biting and you spining. Sometimes in real life you do have this problem with it "biting" when you slide however you solve that by widening widening the rear wheels (I think). However in gt5 you can't alter this stuff with tuning. :(

Wow great pics mate, you managed to capture loads of the race in these photos. Amazing turnaround to get them done this quickly.

I actually finished the race a lap down. Kinda funny that I was allowed to keep on going at race speed after the leader crossed the finish and I was originally lapped. Maybe it's something to be worked on for a future GT5 update?
 
Glad to see I held on to 3rd place in the standings even though I got shoved off track during the last lap!
I think it's great that Comp is putting up the photos from the race, gives me something to remember the race by and to show my friends. It would be neat to do a kind of recap at the end of the season, maybe an online "scrapbook" or slideshow that everybody could view and reminisce about the awesome karting championship! I'm pretty handy with Photoshop and could probably whip up a podium photo of the top 3 finishing karts in the championship, with some kind of champagne spraying celebration in the background of course! :)

Looking forward to the next race! It's clear I need to do some more practicing.
