What day of the week for this series to race on

don't worry about giving Cment or what ever apenalty, I will just use the next few event to ensure he don't bother turning up again, thank F____ I'm leaving GTP when this, WRC and DTM finish,

I didn't watch the whole replay, but on at least once I saw NCemt get a little grass on his wheels into the third hairpin and slide into you and another time it looked like a little tap under braking in the same corner. Didn't look deliberate to me and I believe both times he let you retain the position. Watch the replay and try to be objective about it...mistakes do happen and so long as someone doesn't benefit from a mistake it's usually ok. It only makes it worse if we assume unintentional mistakes are deliberate and then act out accordingly on the track.

That was fun. but apparently I'm gonna need some help tuning this FF car. I don't know how to get it to turn better and the corners are costing me alot of time.

Look up.💡 The tune I posted above for the Civic is the tune I used in the race. It will never handle like the Mazda, partly because the Mazda is a TC not an RM, but at the specs we're running at, all three cars are very competitive and the FF's have a straighline advantage and a better holeshot it seems. Cnd and I ran nose to tail for several laps and it was clear he had a cornering advantage and I had the straightline speed but overall the cars are the exact same lap time at Tsukuba.

Stupid pits shot me out. I was like, what! Whattttt!!!!! Lol. I would've been right on polar the whole race if that didnt happen... Oh wells :p

Happens if you go in too fast. You can't go into the pits wide open. You don't have to slow to 80 km/h before you hit the pit lane but you can't be going 185 km/h either...:sly:

NOTE: If anyone is using the tunes I posted above, I'll be happy to make adjustments for GVE and the following tracks, time permitting. I know GVE in particular has that one tricky downhill section after the esses that plays havoc with loose FF setups. I highly doubt the Tsukuba settings will work there.

Forgot, apologies again to Ntc for my stupid spin after the race was over. I completely forgot that some drivers were lapped and right behind me. Glad to see it didn't affect the outcome or I would have disqualified myself:guilty::scared:

Thanks for being so civil. I saw what happened on the replay. Thanks to Ntc for not making something so trivial a big deal. 👍 Props.

Props to JP for winning and for apologizing.

Lesson learned. Just wish it wasn't in a racing situation :/

with most light cars at Tsukuba if you slam the brake on just as the yellow line starts you should was off enough speed to have it hold you in the pit lane but not reset your car or throw you out, I learned that the hard way too,

I always seemed to get burned for time in the pits. I seem to always lose a few seconds, even when I'm nowhere near any other cars. There must be some trick to pitting fast:idea:

I had the advantage in the pits today because I have the first stall. The game doesn't slow me down to pit when it does for everyone else. It's that way at Tsukuba. Blame PD

It's not just Tsukuba. The last few times I've been in races where I've had to pit I always seem to lose a few seconds in the pits. Could be just random luck and maybe I have a bad stall compared to who I'm losing ground to...but when it comes to GT5 you never know:ouch:

it wasn't a big deal Jhonny just pls dont do any more if anyone had been on my tail I would have lost my position :yuck: lol

Thanks ill check out that setup. I can run consistent 102.6's with occasional 102.2ish. but after 10 laps I'm at 103.00's. I think its just minor flaws in my racing line and I'm trying to get my consistency better. Helped me alot to run the 4 hour tsukuba endurance the other night. perhaps I will run another 4 hrs at GVE this week as well.

It's luck. It comes and goes on GT5. I got very lucky today on pit stop time in both the ITCC and the Rolex series.

Ok so after my first night of tuning my best time is a 1:11:081 but consistently 1:11:500 ish. I would like to know some other times to know if I'm running slow or competitive

That should be pretty decent. I haven't put the Miata on Grand Valley East yet to know for sure though.

BTW: Points and Success ballast have been updated. Check 2nd post.

I have a room up for GVE practice if anyone would like to join here is the room number. 1472 6118 3744 3749 8794

ok so I figured out that I was in offline practice when I set the 111.081. in an online room in a race im able to run low 112's with the exact same setup. :(

I couldn't practice earlier because I was golfing  I might get on soon and see what I can do.

I am going to remake the room here in a few minutes. its been open for 5 hours and its starting to lag. i will post up the new room number when its up

Alright. I'm about to get on. I'll probably join up.

More than likely I'll be gone fishing this weekend and won't make the race. If anyone wants any of the cars tuned for GVE let me know as soon as possible as I could leave town as early as Thursday.

EDIT: Last night's update seems to mean that the online physics model is now the same as the offline was all along. Means that you will probably need even more radical tuning to get the Honda and VW to rotate although at GVE it's not usually an issue.

I'll try to get some testing done today with the new physics. I don't believe that it will radically affect this series besides a few tweaks to the setups.

wow so I missed out on an update last night? I'm gonna get on after I download some skrillex to my ps3. That should help me get some better lap times right there.

The difference before seemed like it made either the car lighter, gravity lower, or less wind resistance/downforce, when racing online. I have the perfect car to test this theory with. I know exactly how it will run on cape ring offline. I was recording the differences and comparing them with online.

Took the Honda back out to Tsukuba after the update today, and it was complete rubbish...lol:ouch: Lots of understeer, similar to the stock tune. Didn't have much time but even going to +45/-20 in ride height, which under the old physics would have made the back end really loose, didn't have much effect. But, the car was good at Grand Valley, especially the trecherous downhill double right handers after the esses. Before the update the back end was nearly uncontrollable through there with the Tsukuba tune, now it's smooth as silk.👍

i liked the loose back end of the honda. how do i get it back lol

Don't have time to fiddle with it tonight, but I don't think it's going to be an easy chore. Ride height was the biggest factor in gaining traction at one end or the other and now it almost seems to be a non-factor:tdown: Back to the drawing board. 💡

well i may try my old setup then. i cant run any faster than a 1.12 now

I'm downloading the new update now. I'll probably end up running a few laps to see how much of an effect the update has.
