Introduction
No matter what discipline of racing, most drivers can trace their roots to go-karts. These 75cc karts are the perfect way to begin a racing career, and the relatively short races make joining easy for all.

Series Information​
  • Tier: 1
  • Qualifying Format: Pre-Race Hotlaps
  • Race Format: Single Header
  • Race Distance: 40km (Except Finale)


Racing Regulations​
  • GTP's OLR applies.
  • In the event that the below rules conflict with the OLR, assume the rules below to be correct.
  • Cars must be run to the specifications given by GTMSA.
  • You must keep 4 tires on hard surfaces and 2 tires between the white lines on the edges of the track. In corners you may have two tires on rumble strips as long as all 4 tires remain on a hard surface. Any exceptions to this rule will be noted before each race.
  • You may change lanes twice to defend your position.


Incidents​
  • To report an incident, send a PM on GTPlanet to myself, LancerEvo7, or another GTMSA official, stating the race, lap, turn, and drivers involved.
  • Do NOT use the in-game chat function to talk about incidents.
  • GTMSA officials will review the incident and apply penalties if necessary.
  • If you are deemed to be at fault for an incident, the following penalties will be applied depending on the severity of the incident:
    1. First Offense: Warning
    2. Second Offense: 30 Second Penalty added to finish
    3. Third Offense: Disqualification from one race
    4. Fourth Offense: Suspension for remainder of season
  • Stewards may also impose other penalties based on their discretion.

DNF: Last-Place (If you disconnect, and there are 8 drivers, you get 14 points for 8th place.)
DNS: Half Last-Place - 1 (If you can't start, and there are 8 drivers, you receive 9th place and 6.5 points.)
DNQ: 5

  • You must be a Tier 1 GTMSA driver to enter this series. To get your tier, see this thread.
  • To sign up, post your entry in the following format:

Cool series so far. So it'll use the Jr Karts instead?
 
I was wondering what kind of room settings will the series use? Damage, tire wear, slipstream etc?

I've moved the start back to the 17th to avoid the time change and to hopefully get more people. I'd like to have at least 8 entries before the season starts.
 
I'm interested in joining. But to be honest, I have no interest in joining GTMSA (or any GTP organization, so please don't take it personally), so perhaps you could offer me a reprieve as a former GTMSA Super GT champion?

You're not actually joining anything, you would just be added to the driver's list. Either way, you're still more than welcome. I've added you to the entry list provisionally.

I misinterpreted. I thought you had to be a GTMSA member to register for this series.

Anyway, for a formal registration:

I have moved the start time an hour and a half earlier in order to not conflict with the Flying Miata race. I would like to get a couple more sign-ups before the season starts.
 
Lancer. I'm interested. Also interested in signing my son up too. We was using these yesterday and he likes them well. Did well too.

If he shows any signs of being in the way or over his head. I'll pull him out. Don't see that being the case. He will be 11 this year and is well aware of racing rules online. Watches and listens to my racing.

Let me know and I'll get you some colors and official sign up.

I'll take a look at it, perhaps use it for an All-Star style race. I have an almost perfect 3/8 oval, but it's right turns. (Its the one we messed with in the Capps back in the day.)

There's a pretty good chance that I'll be missing the first race since I have to help my brother move into his new apartment Saturday. I'll post here on Saturday as to whether or not I'll be able to make it.
 
Nice to see we have a little Owens racing, you can tell him I will be cheering for him to beat up on the old man this season. :lol:


Also, its looking like I am going to have to work these next 3 Saturdays so I wont be making the first 3 races. Should be good to go for the last two though. 👍

My jr has gone around 1000km lol... We can practice later tonight mate :)
