That was just a suggestion mate, as true was wondering if the format was ok.
Always refer to the OP :D

Ok I got things messed up yeah normal will help, silverstone me and Ian tested in the wet.
Hmm lap times not good and can't remember then was just trying to stop the car and get round bends.
Ps I not like the wet at all lol

Motegi been round a few times hmm not remember the times Grrr.

Monaco I was around 1:45, others were 43ish I think.

Think Ian got the C4 round in 1:43 not really remember as I was really wacked out that night.
I was just hitting walls and if I missed a wall there was always other wall to find.

Laguna takes another setup as for the Corkscrew that little bit means you need high frontend our high damper and springs on the car.
The balance I've not found round there as you can make the car good there and bad round the rest of the track.
I got the VW in the 1:34s helping out Joe gave him my setup but he still could not get under 1:38s!

Alot I raced with early today where saying hard settings in springs and damper setting help tyre wear.
Or make the car better round the track, I had to disagree.
We not on RS we on SS and that need a soft setup make the car take some of the stress and not the tyres.
In the wet your setup need to be even softer helps the tyres to find grip.

I think I know how to set cars up but I'm losted round Laguna, yeah more testing for me there needed.
I mean ninji moans about testing there before I've ever tested it lol.

Blue can you mail the setup races, just so I know them off by heart or look at the pm lol.

It's one of those love/hate tracks. I like the track but it's damn near every time I come on people are there and stay there for several hours... :(

And I quote, "I'm not that good, but I try. That's enough right? Right?...."

I rest my case.
Ian you look old now pal is that just stress.
I know you not like BMW but Xflow BMW could we see it last night?
No he gone in the dust left us thinking about things, like why we even try!

We try because we think we can win, well that's me hold on more about you.
You try because you know you can win.

Ian one driver who plays the rules he will not hit your rear end.
He will just sit behind you and push you into making a mistake and that it he past you dammmmmmmmm.
I've only know him to get one pen in Btcc, that I think was my fault!
I had a days of thunder moment pushed on Ian right up my backside looking for the over take.
We past the smoke and all I found was Skeng moving over to myside of the track.
I had to brake but just could miss hitting Skeng, Ian then also help me by hitting me.
It really was me doing my best but hmm I hit Skeng and Ian hit me.
Me and Ian got pens from that, I'm sure Ian remember it as there the only pens he ever got.

I think pens where for we not pull off, we just tried to win.

Think this the one Oh I do reporting and saving things lol:

Well it the first race and everyone going to be there trying to better them selfs. you moan hit me before I even tested it.
And my start off point was testing at a track I know that being Tsukuba.
I was a little up when why first test poked at me in that post, what did I do wrong lol.
No worries on that I'm new your not so new I guess

Don't take it personally, it isn't aimed at you and you alone. I've seen so many people on that damn track which has only been exaggerated by the fact it was the last round of the previous season.

Well a famous Paulistano said one day :

I think it was Storm and the TRL guys, I can't really remember to be honest.

If it was the TRL I think they had the wrong specs on most of their cars so that might explain it, My problem at Monaco is consistency, I will have good pace given enough laps but I will only have that pace for one lap in every 5.

I used the specs provided in @True-blue-8 OP and nothing else for each and every car and I'm sure @RacingLine did also.

I personally despise cheaters. I am not a cheater thank you, nor ignorant of the specs. Any times I've made are legitimate times regardless of the car or track accordingly to the specs provided on page one.

OK, nobody's calling you a cheater, but I was there after the Silverstone Race we did last Wednesday when you said that your Skyline was at 310BHP followed by 'Is that not the spec?' or something to that effect. Pam questioned how you were able to pull away on the straight despite what should have been a BHP disadvantage given the car models.

I never know that I can win, but I always hope that I can do well. :)

If anyone knows how I drive it's you, we've done a lot of racing together over the past year and I think that you've worked me out. ;) I do like to play tactical, if that means sitting a few inches of your rear bumper and waiting for an error then so be it. Unless I'm at the back of the pack, I don't see the need to force an overtake, there are always opportunities that can present themselves.

I've actually had two penalties so far. I didn't really bother to argue either of them, because they weren't going to affect my championship and I guess that I've been lucky. Mistakes do happen, I have made mistakes and I don't think that anyone is perfect.

Hopefully GTTCC will be as enjoyable for me as the BTCC was and if I can come away with a podium or two I'll be happy.

Mate we were running with the correct specs, you want to see how fast we go with overpowered cars?

i tune my car up with tyre wear on very fast so i can set it up for cornering just testing out car like golf on corners

If I remember correctly the only car I have spec to 310 bhp is the volvo, which was the car I used at silverstone. I used the skyline at motegi with 280 hp and 1380 kg.

lol, Volvo.

Watch it you!

I am certainly not accusing anyone of cheating, my apologies if it sounded like that. I was only saying that. as Ninja said, after the race at Silverstone in the Nissan you said you had 310BHP and I gathered from the conversation afterwards that you had put all the cars at that setting but I may have got the wrong end of the stick there, not sure. It is also possible that you were just driving the Volvo and on my and Ninjas screen it looked like the Nissan, that is a bug that I have seen occasionally and that may well explain what happened.

Again no offence intended, I only mentioned it as I was quoting laptimes from that evening and wasn't sure if the times you two were running were going to be accurate.

Right think I've got it now.

Race 1: 20 mins tyre/fuel normal no need to pit
Race 2: 30 mins tyre/fuel fast, must pit and use another tyre compound within a pit window
Race 3: 10 mins tyre/fuel off
I take it in race 3 we have to sit in the pits and wait for super pole to start, no out laps

Also div1 and div2 will take place at the same time just in another room

No races apart from race 3 have pens trying to work this one out.
If I finish 1st in race one and 4th in race two, does this mean I lose 35bhp. going off 290bhp
Take it we just add the two together so 1st and 1st means 52bhp drop.

Also in the spoiler you've listed 300bhp should that not be 310bhp?

those races are correct 👍

div 1/2 same time different room 👍

Super pole yep sit in the pits, then everyone drives out. Then only 1 timed lap 👍

Race 1 no pen
Race 2 and 3 have pen

However i'm thinking of dropping the accumulating. If someone finishes 6th in race 2 that means they start race 3 with full power. Also now with a lot of signups that means the pace of the grid should be better

I know, was going to update everything yesterday after all the car choices, but fell asleep

The Volvo will have another -1bhp drop from what it says for 300 👍

If any difficulty we can get @sb360 on it, he's clever :p

I like the cumulative penalties thing, particularly as the penalty amounts have been decreased from last year it will mean that the balancing works better.

How about instead of 6th = full power back everyone who finishes 5th to 10th gets any penalty they have halved?

So if I win race 1 and get a 9% penalty (25BHP in the Integra) and then finish 6th in the next race instead of getting all my power back I go from a 9% reduction to a 4.5% reduction (So get 13BHP back)

math

but yeah sounds good 👍

math

but yeah sounds good 👍

I reckon I can sort the maths for that, I will have a tinker with the spreadsheet later, that way the only way to get full power back would be to finish 11th or worse, no-one will do that deliberately, finishing in the top 5 means you lose a percentage from wherever you were and finishing 5th to 10th means you stay were you where (if you had no penalty) or you get some of your power back.

I will have a play with that later.

@Ian_83 and I quote 'Volvo driver'
Now we all know what Volvo drivers are like don't we :mischievous: (@sb360 :p)

lol, Volvo.

Why I'm merely a Volvo driver, a Nissan is far superior.....isn't it?

What a wise pussy cat......

......If your Datsun can make the start line without rusting away you'll have done well and should enjoy the moment, because you sure as heck won't reach the finish.
