the stupid boost may have made the racing super close and fun but not having fair competition ruined R1 for me and my team mateIn all fairness
a) boost was on
b) this allowed your Volvo to just out run them out the end
mine is matte grey with orange instead of yellow tho lolJust announcing a colour change for the team, @sibbystiggy and I are now driving in metallic silver integras with yellow spoilers and rims

First corner. 👍Being the noob that I am, which ones paddock bend?![]()

went into the pits 1st & 2nd, came out 2nd to last and last
The chicane thing coming out the tunnel and down the hill at Monaco. Actually half the corners on the track.First corner. 👍
That and the chicane-kink thing at Rome are the hardest corners to get right on the game, in my opinion.
I think its flatout in cars with alot of downforce, like F1 cars, everything else struggles, its a wider and smoother version of the corkscrew but in reverse (going up)The chicane thing coming out the tunnel and down the hill at Monaco. Actually half the corners on the track.Ive never understood why some people think that eou rouge is a difficult corner, its flat out in most cars!
I'd forgot about the corkscrew, that's much harder.I think its flatout in cars with alot of downforce, like F1 cars, everything else struggles, its a wider and smoother version of the corkscrew but in reverse (going up)

I remember thatits funny because last month some cock in a polo ran on to the track during an actual race.
If you're talking about the incident at Brands, that actually happened a looooong time ago.its funny because last month some cock in a polo ran on to the track during an actual race.
If you're talking about the incident at Brands, that actually happened a looooong time ago.It wasn't his car either and he deserved a good slap.
I knew about it last year sometime.
yes, if educatedAre you willing to take anyones thoughts?
I prefer quality, not quantityYou shouldn't give up, seriously. Look how many people are interested in this series. I mean, TWO lobbies have to be run just to support everything. In my opinion, that's pretty impressive! The only other series I've seen doing this is the FIA GT World Championship.
Ok guys, i'm torn.
After a great season I thought this would be amazing. However the standards have been poor, and despite being tough on them, it has still continued.
I handed the keys of the series over and the opinion is torn. I tried to make things as simple as possible, and now trying to have some fun, I cant, and it's just been over complicated. So now the question is what to do.
I'll just withdraw completely. That's pretty much what has happened now and it's just no fun.
I just shut GTTCC down. It's looking bad when I put all this work in and then take a step back its crumbling, and then with some of the standards and rule breakers.
Scrap this season and bring in what was planned for GTTCC-4. A one make and make things simple.
It's ruined off track by servers, and losing my grasp on the series, then when I get on track it's ruined by poor driving. For those of you who are aware of some of the things I'm dealing with in real life, the game is meant to be an escape. Not cause additional problems. I want some fun, that's all. I released hosting duties and tried to step back.
I'm not sure what to do. Just sharing my first thoughts.
I know exactly what you mean 👍Hmmm... It's a tough one.
On one side you've put a lot of work into developing this season's specifications, the BoP and the formats. It's the largest field ever recorded in GTTCC history with so much interest it's had to be split into 2 divisions. There's a lot of scope for an interesting season.
HOWEVER, I for one believe a back-to-basics approach for the series may not necessarily be a negative. If anything, I believe it will rejuvenate the series by taking it by the horns and changing it. Return to the old style of format, return to the old style of pens. That is what made this series what it is (or was).
The calendar is weak IMO, and that's me being polite about it. Seasons 1 and 2 were stacked compared with this. Sure, if I was in charge half the season would be street circuits (Rome, Tokyo, SSR5) and then the return of the tracks which produced awesome racing (Apricot Hill, Big Willow, Cape Ring South, Grand Valley East, Fuji GT). That would be my 8. Maybe with Midfield or the ill-fated Dristelen (if the pit lane works this time).
Part of me is even tempted to call for a return to Season One specs, even if me and the Golf don't get on anymore...
Might just be me, and I'd like the opinions of the drivers who were here for Season 1 on this, but something just feels... I don't know... Missing...
Not a knock on you, but I'm sensing that you feel the same way.
Been mulling it over for awhile and will continue do.@True-blue-8 its totally up to you, do whatever makes YOU happy. Dont make rash decisions though, have a think for a few days
Maybe pass the keys to GTTCC to someone else. That way you can enjoy the fun instead of having to worry about running everything.yes, if educated
