I like the sound of that MachOne, but wouldn't that also kinda go to the funniest person on here?
 
Interesting, MachOne. I guess there's only one way to find out!

Step 1: Buy flowers; drive to Ohio.

Step 2: Make MachOne put on a sailor's outfit. Then proceed on making him cry with my clever insults.

Step 3: Give MachOne one swift kick, essentially equaling to gender reassignment surgery.

Step 4: Sit back and wait for the +rep.

Seems we've had a lot of good suggestions, and some slightly weird ones :p although if we want a general opinion poll on Most Lovable Member, I think that'd be a good one ;)

Does 'Best Thread' equal 'Longest Thread', 'Fastest-Growing Thread', or 'Most Flame Wars Incorporated into a Single Thread'? If yes to any of these three, then I don't need to try and get a 'Biggest Skyline Fan' award commissioned :lol:

No, it's the thread that you have most enjoyed. Last year I think it was a tie between the Funny Pic Thread and Creation vs Evolution.

I was going to post this, it's hillarious reading these threads and seeing people trying to make categories for themselves.

How about the greatest Race Idiot category

I nominate Race Idiot that guy is a huge faggot and I hate him and I hope he dies.
 
How about the joint johnnyh/morganhead award for excellence of obsession?
 
How about we eliminate the "most knowledgeable" award. The same person wins it every year and his minions are always the ones who support it; and to be honest, it's getting kind of annoying.
 
I'll have to check but I think last year was the first year he won it. It wasn't by a big margin either.

He didn't win it the year before, that's definite. Back in 2002 I think JohnBM01 was a prime candidate for most knowlegable. I don't see any reaon not to keep that category, even if he was to win it for the second year running, it doesn't mean there's no competition for the award.

Sounds good enough to me. I was thinking of one for the most opinionated member but then I thought that being the most opinionated member might not always be a good thing.
 
It could be good in the context that they are good at debating/discussing. Like someone that consistantly posts in the Opinions forum.

Thoughts people?

I've got some opinions, but I'm not in the debating stuff because my English isn't that wide, of grammar :indiff:
 
Well we have plenty of mass debaters :p, so if you wanted to include it and keep it in the more good at debating kind of opinionated context it could work.
