That is my opinion though. It doesn't cater to my needs me and is therefore useless to me.
That's irrelevant. Plenty of cars are useless to me but I still find them cool because I know they have a use in context.

I happen to quite like '70 Dodge Chargers. An utterly useless car in the UK where parking spaces are at a premium and gas is $8+ a gallon. Using your logic, that makes it uncool. Except to me it's sub-freaking-zero.

You're judging a truck useless because it doesn't meet your definition of a truck formed half a century later and half way across the world. That may well be "your opinion" but holding an opinion on something doesn't make it a valid one.

Again: Finding it uncool because you think you'd look daft in it or because people will find it ugly is a valid opinion. Calling it "useless" is to misunderstand its use, and is therefore an invalid opinion.

Are you really basing coolness on practicality, usability and usefulness? You're out of your mind. Hell you're practically killing even your rusting truck that's been sitting for God knows how many years. Half of the cool cars of the world are the least practical, useful things in the world.

Well it runs and moves and gets used but otherwise has been "sitting" for about 6. But as I've said it's getting rebuilt. Besides the fact that we are hard pressed for money right now which is the reason why it sits. This is due to my mother having several terminal illnesses. So that fact that I'm killing it is out of my control.

I don't know why you all are hanging onto it so long. That conversation was over a long time ago.

Gave it a meh. I love kei trucks though I'm not fond of the looks on this one.

Seriously uncool, just look at it!

If we use Clarkson's cool test (if you can pick up a celebrity in it and look good, it's cool), then that fails horrendously!

Clarkson's cool test rules shouldn't apply when you forming your own opinion of a car lol.

By now you'd think people would fully realize that making reference of anything Top Gear or their hosts say is going to ridicule them. It's sad to still see posts like that.

I wasn't basing my opinion on that, I was simply using it to support my argument.

I'm sorry, I didn't realise that quoting a famous, successful motoring show was such a bad thing. Also, like I said, I simply used that to back up my first point.
Also, you use the words "by now" but you don't seem to know what they mean. That was my first post in this thread, so I'm sorry if I don't know all of the rules.

Little truck that did what it was designed to do, effectively and efficiently. Also not loud and brash about it, just a little utility vehicle to navigate well in its intended location.

Cool.
