It was replaced in Europe by new model in 2007, but the first generation model continued in production in Columbia to 2012. The name Twingo comes from the words Twist, Swing, and Tango"

Looks awful and as it was never sold in Britain it does make it rare, although that's probably a good reason. Uncool.

...It kept that design til 2012?!

Also, is it just me, or does the word "Twingo" seems like it could be used to name an Australian animal? Probably because the word sounds similar to "Dingo"

I'm not sure why, but these are strangely appealing.

Light, functional, yet relatively good proportions.

Cool.

It says in the OP, only in Colombia. Plenty of old cars are still built under licence; the Peugeot 405 is still built as a new car in Iran and Egypt.

I like them too. It's kind of cute and unpretentious at the same time, which is a rare combination. French superminis seem to manage it more than most other cars, come to think of it.

Cool from me.

Cool, and brings back fond memories of having one as a hire car on my many trips in the past to Paris (which they were ideal for).

Always have liked these things, wish Renault was here when they were selling them.

Uncool.

Slightly horrifying the first time I saw one on the streets of Germany (with the bumper with a wider "mouth"), but look at it -- it's just so happy it can hardly contain itself. Cool because it's a car that's high on life, and they make me smile.

Meh. It suffers from Fake Smile Syndrome. Just look at the poor thing.

Insanely cheerful. I've loved the Twingo since I was very young. Just about the perfect embodiment of a supermini, the 90s in general, with never ending charm.

Sub Zero.
