Everything else North Korean... depends. Pyeonghwa is actually owned by Reverend Moon (well, he's not all that cool, either) and not the North Korean government.

As far as I can tell, Pyeonghwa actually pays its workers to build cars. They're boring cars. But they're cars.

Not nuclear submarines. Or missiles. Or tanks.

Just cars.

Which scant few North Koreans can afford, since their money is mostly worthless, but hey... the tiny factory output (about 300-400 a year) keeps a few hundred people from starving.
