The 3.0 Diesel would make a decent mile-muncher and at £6k for a reasonably low mileage (<80k) example they're a steal at the moment. Not cool though.
 
Ugly, ungainly and utterly pointless. BMW have often struggled whenever they needed to use a 6 as a car's model number. This is no exception. Perhaps they just needed to use up all those bits of failed prototypes and slap a 6 series or M6 badge on it. Who knows? Uncool.

This is only the second 6er. What's funny to me is after letting the name languish for almost a decade and a half, re-introducing the 6 with this car is the only reason BMW later found themselves deciding to reorganize their lineup and chop up the 3-series to make everything more "logical".
 
Meh
M6 version looks great, heck I even have a 1:18 model of it, but the rest of the models look extremely meh.
 
Ugly from every angle... the shape didn't look good until Mercedes figured it out. Bloaty bloaty beemer. Uncool.
