I think it's cool, probably because I was driving it during the driving school lessons and winter driving courses. It's the first car that I was driving by myself, so it has a special place in my heart now.

Btw, it had diesel engine and manual gearbox.

It appears they wanted to nominate the standard 1.5 US hatch only, which did run from 2008 until 2011. Meaning someone else would have to pick up the rest and nominate the Vitz/Yaris and Belta separately. /effort

Possibly, but it still came with the auto in the US.
 
This car is the definition of Meh, Infact apart from Utilitarian Land Cruisers and the GT86 basically all modern Toyotas are Meh.
 
Car for the type of student who's going to uni and expects that any car they buy will come with scratches and dents.

These were extremely popular here, they were the default choice for people who didn't know anything about cars and didn't care about them, and just wanted something cheap and reliable. Which isn't very cool.

I went pretty much straight forward,, I only did read the OP because I ddin't want to spoil myself with other people saying good stuff or bad stuff mostly, which would affect my vote, but I'll keep it in mind.
