Originally (here in the US at least) Ecoboost was originally called "Twin Force". Ford decided the name didn't sound "green" enough so they changed it.

Even more uncool. They could have had a cool name, but chose one designed to appeal to eco-hippeis instead.

I don't think it's for greenie-weenie reasons. Ford wanted to call it "Egoboost" (Think the F-150 with the 3.5L TT V6.), but put "Ecoboost" on the cars instead.

'Twin Force' also sounds like the sort of straight-to-video Van Damme film you might catch on the Syfy channel.

With his recent foray into car commercials, I think it's safe to say that Ford missed a huge opportunity.

It's a one-off street-legal version that was created. The true race car wouldn't have lights or a license plate.

God that would be fun here. I could imagine being at a stop light with all the big trucks and Suvs.
