That said, any boy who gets past the Aztek factor will probably appreciate the car with the darkened windows, large interior volume and optional tent for the back.

A Vauxhall that tries too hard?

In an alternative GM timeline the Aztek wouldn't exist and this would have a tent that comes out the back, and I would be giving it a sub-zero. But here we are, and it's an uncool from me.
 
I am going to be considered crazy and I'm sure that there's something wrong with me, but I love little city cars (there are exceptions) and the Adam is no exception.

I love the looks, the smallness, has a LED lit celling and pretty much everything about it. I don't like the name nor the engines but that apart I'll give it a sub-zero, but just.
 
Opel Adam is cute, gets a meh though because it isn't available here.

Vauxhall Adam gets a SU because Vauxhall was not founded by an Adam, the name makes no sense.

Buick Adam gets the same vote (unless now it WAS founded by an Adam magically).
 
The fact that the paint options include such names as "Saturday White Fever", "Pump Up the Blue", and "James Blonde" is almost bad enough to put it into uncool territory alone. The fact that it seems to be designed for people who buy their cars based off of only looks and that there are plenty of other choices in the segment that are just flat-out better easily pushes the ADAM into SU.

And the Vauxhaull website configurator keeps telling me to "Experiment with ADAM." They probably could have worded that better.
 
This just about scrapes the borderline between Uncool and Seriously Uncool for me.
 
This car would sell very well in Mexico. Maybe even with it's name intact.

I think it looks alright to be honest... On looks alone it would be my choice in the segment. I dont get why people are making retro comparisons with it. Its not cool though, but i dont find any car in this class cool anyway (goddarn latte drinkin', hemp sandle wearin', cat owning young uns!)

Having said that, in the context of its peers and competitors, i find it the least objectionable... So m'eh.
