I honestly think it's stylish. Better looking than the Prius, it has more power, and it's futuristic.

I don't know why a lot of people hate on the Prius. I honestly think the Prius is way better looking than this car.

If the Prius is a sin, this thing is worse than that. Prius is bland and boring, this thing is ugly in every way.
 
I like hydrogen so that's something. But this is fugly. And it's a road car. SU.
 
5 "cool" votes and 1 "sub zero" vote? seriously? :rolleyes: I mean it's your opinion at the end but why the hell this has 6 "cool" and above votes?

If someone said to me "would you rather have this or a Pontiac Aztek ?", I will immediately go for the Aztek ...
 
The back wheels are too small for that body.

I don't actually mind the styling. I'd not call it attractive, but it's very much a car of Japan - it slightly reminds me of the Isuzu Vehicross, which was also hideous but also couldn't be from any other country. Likewise Toyota's old 'Will' product range (Vi, Vs, Cypha) and any number of kei cars.

The styling is a proportions problem more than anything. As @Liquid says, the wheels are too small. The blue isn't flattering either - that silver is much better. And I really like the crazy slashes throughout the interior.

Nor do I object to the technology as such. I don't agree that fuel cells are the right way to go - pure electric power is much more viable - but it's refreshing to see a company trying something different.

But because it's ungainly, and because it's a little too self-consciously weird (and that's not the way to get people into alt-fuel vehicles - the support for a company like Tesla or cars like the BMW i8 shows that a much simpler approach works better), it has to be an uncool.
 
Seriously uncool just for it's Juke-like levels of hideousness.

If this is the future, kill me now, please! Car's so ugly it may as well deliver the killing blow to FCVs.

The Prius hate is mostly undeserved, but this? Oh, god, it's so ugly it's like the Ark of the Covenant.

Toyota has big aspirations in China.

So, they've made something that looks like it was designed in China.

Very Bangladeshi Bangers, too, in a way, in that it seems like they've grafted a concept car body onto something horrendously plain.

Leepu would be so proud.

Uh... I do like the interior, though. And the powertrain sounds nice. But still, seriously uncool. Could design something better in my sleep.
