Thats right! Its footbal season!

And everyone knows what that means, Magic has a GTP football pool in the football forum! Exciting new things are happening this year, and it is going to worth playing. So come on over and play your luck anyone can play. Rules are simple and it gives you more reason to be competitive with your fellow GTPers!

Check this thread out for all rules. GTP's football pool! You can also see examples of past seasons, within the football forum if you still don't quite get it!

I will be announcing the prizes every soon. I have to see how many join to see if there is going to be a 1st 2nd 3rd prize, or just a grand prize! Good Luck, and Have fun!


In case you were wondering, this is the oringal Magic, and I am alive. Although work and school are trying to kill me, and I am still kicking and I promise I will keep this pool up to date. (although its kinda late as of right now.)

I miss this site, and all of you... but I am going to make it an effort to be here more often. I am kinda mad I didn't make it on the GTP awards! ;)

NEW RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please read:

Since I helped out a few members for getting started with week 1, giving them a 3-3 record for week 1, every member is aloud to skip one week and receive the same. If you have already used this, such as the late comers, you can not use it again. Every week missed after the first will be a 0-0.

The list of members that have used there 3-3 gimmie are:

U.N.A.M.
Klos
Hanker
Red Eye
Saleen Man
SublimeDood

Everyone else is still able to receive a gimmie for week of 3-3!

I'm not really playing, i just decided to pick that time. doubt i'll be a reg. not into football enough anyways.

I really hadn't thought about that. I have just decided that this prize will be just for the regular season.

Meaning there will be a prize for the post season as well!

YTD rankings are CRAZY!!!! This has got to be the closest year GTP has ever seen. Stiff competition going on. Maybe its the prize, maybe its the harder bonuses, or maybe its because there are more people playing this year then ever in the short history of pool!

Whatever it is, do what you can to up your game. The grand prize could be anyones!

If you haven't figured it out, Week 7's Results are posted, and week 8's games are listed! Go make your very wise descions now!

Oh, and my computer is at 100% again, so hopefully all time delays are over with. I should be able to have everything up every tuesday night. :D

Funny this remark was made becuase big things happened this week in the YTD rankings! There posted and ready for everyone to ohhh and awh at! Plus a conterversional call made by myself involving a bonus pick!

Plus that means week 9's picks are up! So get in and chose all those winning teams. Research may be key here as the rankings are so tight anyone could win!
 
Week 9's Results are up, and the race is still Hot. The leaders aren't that far out of reach from the rest of the pack. So look out you 4!

Day late and a few points short...

Anyhow, week 10's results are up and week 11's games are posted! Good games this week! Plus a revisited bonus!
 
Week 12 and the heat for that prize is crazy hot! It could be anyones, as the weeks come closer to an end! Check out this weeks YTD records!

Its also a good point in the season to remind everyone that come playoffs, GTP's offical football pool starts clean slate!!! So if you have been watching and wished you had jumped in sooner, playoffs is your chance! With a new prize, which could be yours! So make sure to keep up to date by watching the news from this thread!

Week 12 Results are up and very interesting. Still a close race! Its anyones pool as the NFL regular season gets closer to finishing up.

Also, read the post above to find out info on what happens in the post season!

Plus Week 13 is going to be tough. Be careful with those selections, members are either gaining or loosing lots of gound on just a couple of loses.

Opps! Made a mistake with the scheduling! Hope my fix isn't to confusing! All those made their picks already are unaffected by the change, and all those that haven't have 6 games to chose from still.

PM me if anyone sees a problem with the way I fixed the problem!
