Lets do 4wd 600PP with Ford RS200 '84 open , but no nitro. My time is done that way , Obviously Wauk has it standard.
Let keep this way till next thursday? Happy Easter to all Geezers around the World !

Thanks Mots and a Happy Easter back at you and everyone! Now, perhaps it's because I'm an elder but I have to admit I'm a bit confused ,, When you say "open" do you mean fully tuned? The reason I ask is you mentioned Wauk is running "standard" so I'm assuming he's running the stock or DEFAULT (as purchased or won) tune. Thanks for any help getting these figured out.

Spoke to Mots this afternoon and it is tuned.

An excellent day of hard fought racing yesterday and an almost full room. No disconnects or any thing and every one got into the room first time as well.

Next Saturday will be Grid Autosport for those who have it or if you need to purchase it PSN store is one way or any other outlet. Looking to add more laps to races when you are ready for it.

Time will be as usual for Saturday 14.00 UK, or 09.00 EST.

When you are ready send me a message saying ready in the subject line. I will connect you as soon as i can when race has finished.

I will be hosting a GT6 room on Wednesday at the same times for those of you still playing.

The racing will be one make to start, somebody will pick a car and go from there, winner will decide after first race.

:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:

Stewy

Is possible to get to know tracks used in following races, because it makes racing more interesting when you know where
to turn, otherwise I must have co-driver to tell me!:confused:💡

I think we are all in the same boat with regard to the new tracks but after a year or two we will all be up to speed.
I was thinking 💡, following your suggestion of a co-driver, of asking the wife to take on this job but having experienced a sample of her map reading :scared: 🤬 have decided to 'go it alone'.

The new Mots TT will be the Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Racer Concept '59 Stock with an oil change it's 330 HP weight is 1150 KG giving a 477 PP rating. Use the 5 speed transmission (the middle choice) to eliminate the power limiter interruption the 4 speed allows.

Hello Geezers there will be a GT6 meeting on Saturday 9th April at the usual time 14.00 UK 09.00 EST.
room will be open 30 minutes before. If disconnects start again we will go back to Grid Autosport.
Format will be stock cars picked from garage to start with.

I will be online most days at 14.00 Uk if anyone wants to race Grid probably.

Hello Geezers - I haven't chosen the Geezer car for this weeks Mot's Geezer TT so if you want to make a suggestion please do. Keep in mind it must be faster than the the Stingray we are currently using and slower than the next weeks choice. Price should not be too high since these accounts likely don't have a lot of cash in them.

For the current car, last night I found that increasing the ABS on the Stingray seemed to help, if you want to give it another try. P Mallard

Challenger R/T Race car 70 583PP 641Cv 1260kg stock and final gear 2335? Maybe much power for week 3 but we can cut something.

Good choice Joda, it will easily outrun the Sting Ray, and not be as fast as next week. So we'll go with the Dodge Challenger R/T Race car 70, with an oil change it will be 583 PP. Stock weight is 1260kg. After your oil change, do a transmission reset and change only the final gear ratio to Jota's 2.335 suggestion. P.M.

Hi friends
Some geezers are giving up Mot´s TT and many geezers don´t read this forum:boggled:. Do you think that if we send messages directly explaining how to participate (my english is bad) we will can attract new racers?.

Excellent idea @jotafduarte we need more geezers although there are some who are not coming back to GT6 after all the trouble the servers were giving a couple of weeks ago.

Yes @Stewyripper some left GT6, but following my last post I think that maybe someone of 40 geezers (@geezer1791 data ) who participate regularly in seasonal events would like to join us to drive great cars of our generation (I had a Renault 8:lol: )
For this purpose would have to be a "friend request" GZR , explaining how to create a new PSN (they are old...) and what is Mots TT namely how to know the week stock car (or changed set up) and classifications if they want know , visiting our club in GT Planet and to know "Stew races " online.
I can collaborate but as my english is poor to write the correct text maybe be some of you will have more probability of success in this project.:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:

Hello Geezers all went well yesterday, so maybe just maybe we have turned a corner as regards to disconnects on GT6.

If you have all done the most recent seasonal events you will have won the cars we will use next weekend.

We will run stock with oil changes on the Shelby Cobra 427 and the Mobil NSX. Use any tyres (tires) you like.

The Mitsubishi FTO Touring car you may tune to your hearts content. Nos not allowed. Track will be Silverstone GP.15 laps.

Tracks will be by vote on the day.

Next meeting will be 08.30 EST 13.30 UK room open racing starts 30 minutes later.

:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:

We're at the last week of this 4 week run with Mot's TT. Car choice is the Toyota 7 '70. A bit expensive, but it may be possible to get the gold and that should pay for it, or come close. Buy the car and leave it stock with no oil change. Use the limiter to bring it down to 700 pp (89.5). That should give you 705 hp at 620 kg. P Mallard

Not the easiest drive but got lucky, skidded in all the right places got gold and nearly fell off my seat.
A better driver will get it easily possible 53 in this one.

Well done Stewy - I researched the car in my regular account with a tuned car and came up with a 52 and change so I figured the untuned version should get to gold. Did a few red laps last night around 56 in the Geezer account and had some doubts about a 55, but there you go! It is very unsettled, especially the decel oversteer, in the tight corners so I would think strong active steering is the way to go. With no transmission, or diff changes to help, I figure it to be a challenge. P.M.

Anyone suggesting a gold-possible replacement for the RS200 at Mt Panorama? The HKS CT230R '08 perhaps?
I have been driving some laps HKS CT230R , PP 598 616 BHP 1068, fully custom transmision, racing brakes, no oil change.
Should be able to get gold. I did make my decision, because I will be away next week and cannot do any driving. TT will be new next thursday.
Sorry I forgot torque-distrib. centre differential.
