RULES:


  • AVOID ALL WALLS AT ALL TIME
  • OFF-LINE ONLY
  • TIME TRIAL ARCADE MODE ONLY
  • SET YOUR VEHICLE TO SPECIFIED PREFERENCES

  • NO GAMESHARK CODES ALLOWED, NOR OTHER CHEAT CODES

Race Specifics Examples:


  • Your run must be done while OFFLINE
  • All is track, just do not hit any walls.

Standard Clean OLR Rules Examples:


  • 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times
  • Rumble/ripple strips are part of the track
  • No contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
  • If you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
  • No hybrids
  • No cheating of any kind, these are relaxed races
  • Nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules
  • Save your replay

Viewing your T1 & T2 Lap Time Splits:

You need to make sure you save the 'Save Best Lap Replay' (ghost replay), not the 'Save Replay'.

Remember there will be weekly threads for new custom Time Attacks.

What happened to "Super Awesome Time Attacking Weekly Series" name ??? Why change it to "GTP GT PSP Time Attack Weekly Series" ?

What about :

- "[GTPSP] Super Awesome Time Attacking Weekly Series"
- "Super Awesome GTPSP Time Attacking Weekly Series"
- "GTP GT PSP Time Trial Weekly Series"

???

It's just that I'm afraid that because of this new name, people we get confused about who is who ! I mean we do have a Time Attack Challenges Subforum, Host and Compete in a GT Planet Time Attack Challenge (GTPTAC) rules, "The official leader boards and time database for all GTP TAC competitions." (TAC = Time Attack Challenge)...

By using this new name, people will think that what you're doing here and what we're doing is the same and may wonder why their laptimes aren't in The official leader boards and time database for all GTP TAC competitions....

I think you should change your name... Thanks !

alert!!!!!!!

we are having technical difficulties with obtaining competitors. The series will be paused until we have a few for sure competitors. We need your help. Help bring the series back alive.
 
Well, people are really just waiting for GT5 right now and aren't very interested in this. I'm sorry to say, but GTPSP is pretty much a dead game.
 
I had the exact same thoughts. I should change the series to a different game. Or not. Which will involve in a huge new beginning. (DUH DUH DUUUHHHHH!!!!!!!)
But what game? Which Gran Turismo???
 
Well the name doesn't really do much. At first and second, nobody raced except you and me. We were the only competitors. But, I probably should change the game.
 
In your challenges, yes that's true, only you and me...

However, I can't say "nobody race except you and me" : in the Weekly TAC, you have me, Lion-Face, Detroitbb at almost everyone of them, + Fuchur, rpr101, korza493 showed interest in Week 03, + PJ-FFL, akiraacecombat, lukeconnelly in Week 04... You, as a matter of fact, are not competing in the weekly TAC we have, only compete in the ones you host... I did come to yours because I want to support you even if the rules you have are not the ones we follow... Then you change your weekly series name to a name that does look like the one we have, I first don't understand why, and second I think this is not right.

Nothing personnal here Crooooooow, but you can't say that people don't race only because they don't race in your challenges : we do have competitors in ours...

Seems to me, that I messed up a bit along the way. I should have kept the title.
Should participate in your challenges.
 
Yeah, we don't need 2 different time attack challenges for one game that doesn't even have many people still playing it.
