I know it's completely off-topic, but do any of you use UPnP in your network settings?

EDIT: It's because I want to find a way to fix my connection issues in GT5...

Technically I've only used the GT one in 5 full races :p

Sorry couldn't do it tonight. Had my F1 league where I had a horror race.

The Audi R10 is actually fine in the handling department. I drove it a LOT, and found it was more agile through the corners than the 908. Only problem is the torque in low RPM's can be deadly, and of course, it badly lacks power. But with a good tune and in good hands, it could be reasonably successful.

I find the R10 a bitch to drive. It understeers in to a corner, oversteers out and has bad tyre wear. The only guy who could possibly drive that thing reasonable fast me thinks is Mav :)

Just done some extensive (10 minutes of hardcore lapping) and the best lap I got was 1.15.5 with the average being around 1.16.1 I think. The car has massive understeer but I have gone back to killer whale. Tomorrow I will use the set up thread to develop and custom set up and compare it to killer whale. Obviously I want the understeer fixed forst and fore most. Gearing is tough too but I think I have it sorted now

I'd stay and test if anypony was online but I feel like wathcing some more My Little Pony. I really want to reach episode 16 so I can reach the ranks of the 20% cooler

No I'm not. He possibly has the speed, but Johny makes a lot of mistakes with the 908. And the R10 is harder than that lol.

Anyway it's still not the desirable option for anyone :)

Well I've raced against him a number of times in the R10. He was seriously quick. Just needs to cut out the mistakes but he's not quite as good as Mav.

I didn't know but I thought he would actually. British GP and current F1 champion. Fits in to place perfectly for a top gear interview :)

i trashed my cockpit during the move, i though that one sucked anyway, time to build a new one by saturday . New Cable gets installed on Thursday

Exactly what I thought. Modern racing is all about a bottle with a tube where you push a steering wheel button to get water without letting go of the wheel. Or you could use this:

I'm sure a cheesburger one would be possible but it would look like something from SAW. Hmmm, have they done a gruesome trap that feeds you cheeseburgers till you die of errrr cheese?

:lol: No, but I wish. It's hard to eat the cheeseburgers I make and race at the same time. I'll tell you what would be useful though, a soup holder. Many times have I made soup, but had to sit back for something like half and hour to eat/drink it. A soup dispenser would come in handy :)


So is anyone interested in some racing now? Had some fun with mike and golfer yesterday until we all had to go. They both almost owed me a cake, I told them that if I could beat them in the R10, they each should get me a cake, almost beat them :lol: but ultimately, no cake for me.
 
Yes you almost had a cake , all you needed to do was drive faster and wreck less and you would have had it :)

With a wheel I'm just about in the 1:12's but i don't know whether to use it. I'm 0.7 secs faster a lap with it compared to pad but I still make plenty of mistakes with it. And at this stage in the title hunt it would be a massive risk. But 0.7 seconds a lap . . . . . . massive amount of possible time to be gained.

Overtaking is easy at Laguna. Thing is compared to everyone else, I'm a road block that is crap at set up but has a set up that lets me overtake a turn 1 (the hairpin one). So for me I need to blitz quali, then never make a mistake and keep constant track position. Possibly? Yes. Will I do it? Doubt it. Will I watch My Little Pony tonight? DEFINATELY!!!
 
I don't like the MINOLTA anymore, it's demoralizing to drive a car that eats its tyres in 7 La Sarthe laps... is it possible to turn up at the season finale with a different car (like the BMW) and get no points? :p I want to wreck it... the MINOLTA.
